April 19th, 2011 11:00am EDT
Tina Fey
One of the best moments in Date Night is when Tina Fey and Steve Carell have to pole dance for a coked-up politician, in a friendly nod to the True Lies scene involving Jamie Lee Curtis and Arnold Schwarzenegger. Well, thanks to the internet, we now have a video of Tina Fey attempting to seduce the Governator.

Watch the Video Below:

Tina Fey has never played a character with smooth dance moves, so there isn't a lot to work with here. However, it is still amusing to watch Arnold's reactions to several of her Liz Lemon moves from 30 Rock.

Arnold's currently working on a cartoon ti...

Tina Fey's 30 Rock cast and her Date Night co-star Steve Carell were among the comic stars who came together to honor the funnywoman as she picked up the coveted Mark Twain Prize for American Humor on Tuesday.

The Emmy Award-winning comedienne was feted in a ceremony at the Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts in Washington, D.C., and the audience was packed with colleagues from her former show Saturday Night Live and current TV project 30 Rock.

Tina Fey To Receive Mark Twain Prize For Humor

May 25th, 2010 4:30pm EDT

Tina Fey will make history by becoming the youngest recipient of the prestigious Mark Twain Prize for American Humor later this year.

The Date Night star, 40, has been chosen by officials at Washington, D.C.'s Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts as the 2010 honoree. The award is primarily in recognition of her work as a writer and comedian on Saturday Night Live, where she famously mimicked former vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin during the 2008 elections.

Mark Krantz, executive producer of the Mark Twain award, says, "It's that job as a head writer on a show that's been a tra...

Tina Fey: 'I Don't Take My Success For Granted'

April 19th, 2010 11:52am EDT
Tina Fey
Tina Fey is already making contingency plans for life after her fame has faded, because she's convinced her time in the spotlight will be "brief".

The funnywoman, who began her career as a sketch writer on hit comedy series Saturday Night Live, didn't find fame until she was in her thirties, and she's grateful she had time to make a life for herself outside of Hollywood.

She says, "Not having this level of attention at 20 or 25, I've been able to build a real life for myself, one that will endure after this fame thing crashes and burns. Maybe because it came to me later in life, I don't...

'Dragons' Barely Beats 'Kick-Ass' At Box Office

April 19th, 2010 9:43am EDT
How To Train Your Dragon
Animated hit "How To Train Your Dragon" has narrowly beaten action comedy "Kick-Ass" to the top of the box office chart, according to early studio estimates.

The family film scraped ahead with a weekend gross of $20 million on its fourth week on release, compared to "Kick-Ass'" opening takings of $19.8 million.

But it will be another close call for the second week running - the two movies could easily switch positions when exact ticket sales for Sunday are calculated on Monday.

Meanwhile, romantic comedy "Date Night" is at three this week with $17.3 million, while "Death at a Funeral" en...

Tina Fey Made A Romantic Comedy For Grown-Ups

April 8th, 2010 10:09am EDT
Tina Fey Date Night
America loves Tina Fey, whether she’s ripping into Sarah Palin and the politics of the NBC/Comcast deal, or just playing an over eater with bad relationships. She’s not going to make a stupid romantic comedy. Date Night is the thinking couple’s movie.

“We wanted the movie to feel like it was at the top of its intelligence in dealing with this couple and marriage,” Fey said. “We really wanted this couple to feel truthful and realistic to us and that they weren’t a couple who hate each other, who were fighting all the time.”

The bickering duo sniping at each other would be typical Hollywood...

Stars That Started Out Behind The Scenes

April 7th, 2010 2:08pm EDT
Tina Fey
By now most people know that "Date Night" star Tina Fey was the head writer on "Saturday Night Live" before Lorne Michaels had the bright idea to give her the on-screen job of co-anchoring the show's classic "Weekend Update" segment with Jimmy Fallon. Soon she was appearing in movies, winning all of the industry's top acting awards for her role on "30 Rock," and achieving icon status with a brilliant impersonation of a certain moose-hunting republican from Alaska.

It's hard to believe that one of the most recognizable faces in comedy spent several years behind the scenes, and Fey's not th...

Trailer Talk: This Week In Movies - 'Date Night,' 'After.Life' & More

April 5th, 2010 9:11am EDT
The Doors
If I could make a recommendation about going to see “Clash of the Titans,” it would be not to see it in 3-D. While most viewing experiences are enhanced by of 3-D, its use in this film largely detracts from the product. Director Louis Leterrier’s closely pinned shots are unsteady and jarring to the viewer in 3-D, resulting in a headache inducing experience.

The art direction in “Clash of the Titans” is thorough, creating a vivid portrait of ancient Greece and the mythological figures that were part of everyday lore. Corny dialogue and cliché story weigh down this adventure film though. ...

Steve Carell Does The Weather Forecast In Europe (Video)

April 2nd, 2010 9:49am EDT
Carell,_Steve
Steve Carell was in Europe to promote his new movie Date Night, and he was asked to do the weather forecast - much like his previous character Brick from Anchorman.

After stating that the Iberian Peninsula was North America, Carell joked that the ice warnings were especially dangerous because they were triangles. He then mispronounced Aberystwyth (who can blame him) while showing the partly cloudy forecast for the UK.

Unfortunately, with Will Ferrell turning down Anchorman 2, this could be the closest we get to seeing Brick again. Date Night is released April 9.

Steve Carell Reveals Real 'Date Night' Exploits

April 1st, 2010 10:05am EDT
Steve Carell
Steve Carell stars in the upcoming comedy Date Night. He and Tina Fey play a married couple who’s scheduled date night takes a comic turn with a criminal case of mistaken identity. In real life, the Carell couple date nights are comical on a much mellower level.

“We are always happy when we get invited to an award show, because that is it,” Carell said. “That’s our excuse to get dressed up and go out somewhere, and even on those nights, we are generally back by about ten. As most people with kids know, you pay for it. If you really go out late, and whoop it up, the kids are up at 5:30 th...

Steve Carell: 'I'm Always Surprised That I'm Working'

Steve Carell never plans his next career move - because he still can't believe he is a successful actor.

The 47 year old made his name with parts in Bruce Almighty and Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy, before landing the top role as annoying boss Michael Scott in the U.S. version of hit Brit show The Office.

And Carell, who stars in new comedy Date Night with Tina Fey, is still stunned he is leading movies.

He tells the Associated Press, "It doesn't sound sincere but it is: I'm always surprised that I'm working, that I have a job doing what we're doing. Tina felt the same way the...

NBC's Thursday night comedy line-up is now home to movie stars. Steve Carell has a hit every summer between seasons of The Office and Tina Fey had Baby Mama and Mean Girls. Now the two star in Date Night together for director Shawn Levy.

"It is a Thursday night wet dream, Date Night," Levy said.

This isn't just a vanity piece either. The film will feature both comedians' unique voices, and the humor you're familiar with from their past work. "Any great comedic star does punch up on the script and does daily punch up on the script via improvisation. So, with Tina and Steve, both of who...

A star was born in Southeast Washington, D.C. on September 11, 1970 and her name is Taraji Penda Henson, otherwise known as Taraji P. Henson. The first name Taraji means "hope" and the middle name Penda means "love," both being of Swahili origin.

Henson is a graduate of Howard University where she transferred to, earning a degree in Theater Arts. To put herself through college she worked as a secretary at the Pentagon and wait...
