Comic artist Genevieve Valentine penned the new comic and in it the title character's alter ego, Selina Kyle, kisses a love interest named Eiko.

Valentine says that she always knew the character went both ways, saying, "For me, this wasn't a revelation so much as a confirmation."

Valentine adds that she hopes she isn't spoiling things for Batman fans, as the two characters have had a love/hate relationship since the ve...

New Photo Of Ben Affleck's Aging Caped Crusader From 'Batman v. Superman: Dawn Of Justice' Debuts At Comic Con

Ben Affleck as Batman
Batman is celebrating his 75th birthday at this year's Comic Con, and to honor the Caped Crusader, Warner Bros. unveiled a new photo of Ben Affleck wearing the hero's famed cowl at the annual pop culture event.

While Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice is still nearly two years away, it's a good bet that DC Comics will be using the occasion to steal a little thunder from rival Marvel Comics, which will be trotting out several superhero films between now and then, beginning with this summer's Guardians of the Galaxy, which opens August 1 and will be the studio's main focus at Comic Con.

11 Great Movies With Truly Terrible Plot Twists

11 Great Movies With Truly Terrible Plot Twists
In most cases, the quality of a plot twist usually determines the quality of a movie. Bruce Willis was a ghost the whole time in The Sixth Sense. Great twist, great movie. Robert Pattinson was actually a 9/11 victim the whole time in Remember Me. Awful twist, borderline offensive movie.

But sometimes things don't add up. Sometimes, in going for that perfect little story zigzag, a film will overshoot (undershooting is also an issue) and leave us with a big twist that either makes no sense, or makes plenty of sense and is just monstrously stupid.

So prepare yourself, as we travel through a ...

Examining Realism In Christopher Nolan's Dark Knight Trilogy

9/27/2013 7:08am EDT
Batman Begins
One could argue Batman Begins ushered in an era of darker, more realistic super hero films. Gone were the garish colors, cheesy one-liners, and "nippled" armor. But how realistic was Christopher Nolan's Dark Knight Trilogy? In honor of the 6 disc Blu-ray Ultimate Collector's Edition, out this week, we take a look.

The Gadgets and Equipment:

A preface: Projects for the military can be expensive (it can cost billions of dollars to design and prototype vehicles) so consider money no object for Wayne Enterprises. Just because something doesn't exist yet doesn't mean it's not plausible, if you...

Five Reasons Ben Affleck Is A Good Choice To Play Batman (And One Really Bad One)

8/25/2013 10:01am EDT
Ben Affleck
Friday morning the internet blew up after it was revealed that Ben Affleck was cast in the role of Bruce Wayne/Batman for the 2015 sequel to this summer's blockbuster Superman film, Man of Steel.

Affleck will portray a more aged and wiser Dark Knight opposite Henry Cavill's Superman, and the casting move has been met with lots of backlash.

Producers had to find someone new for the role after Christian Bale revealed he wouldn't portray the character again after last year's The Dark Knight Rises, even reportedly turning down a $50 million offer to put on the Batsuit one more time for a plan...

Snyder then brought out "Man of Steel" actor Harry Lennix, who read a passage from graphic novelist Frank Miller's "The Dark Knight Returns," which involves both superheroes at odds with each other.

"I want you to remember, Clark, in all the years to come, in all your most p...

Man of Steel director Zack Snyder confirmed on Saturday that Superman and Batman will share the screen together in 2015.

The director revealed that Warner Bros. has plans to include the The Dark Knight in the sequel to this year's reboot of the Superman franchise, and Henry Cavill and Amy Adams are both on board.

The Batman character will presumably be slightly different than Christian Bale's version, as the star won't be reprising the character from Christopher Nolan's highly successful "Dark Knight" trilogy.

The announcement for the film, which involved an image of the Batman logo with...

Suspect's Arraignment Over 'The Dark Knight Rises' Cinema Massacre Delayed

1/13/2013 11:33am EST
The Dark Knight Rises
Colorado cinema massacre suspect James Holmes will now wait until March 12 for his arraignment so his lawyers can have more time to review evidence in the case.

After a week in court, Judge William Sylvester agreed on Friday to postpone the hearing, meaning Holmes will not have to enter a plea until the spring.

The decision came one day after Judge Sylvester ruled the 25 year old will face trial for allegedly opening fire during a midnight screening of The Dark Knight Rises and killing 12 film fans in July.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Steve Hernandez, father of victim Rebecca Wi...

Best Movies of 2012

The Avengers
2012 was a great year for superheroes, James Bond, a former President of the United States and Ben Affleck. What defines a great film? It's different for everyone, but first and foremost it must entertain. Many movies did just that over the past year.

The number-three grossing film of all time (behind James Cameron's "Titanic" and "Avatar"), starred Robert Downey Jr. as Iron Man, Chris Hemsworth as Thor, Jeremy Renner as Hawkeye, Mark Ruffalo as the H...

Henry Cavill stars as Clark Kent/Superman in the film and the new trailer feels a little more like Christopher Nolan The Dark Knight trilogy than the classic Christopher Reeve Superman films, which is to be expected since Nolan produced the upcoming film.

Most people know about Superman's origins -- he came to earth from the planet Krypton and grew up as the ado...

The Material Girl took her MDNA tour to the Pepsi Center in Denver this week, but refused to censor her performance in light of the tragedy, and whipped out a pistol during her set, as she has done in all of her previous shows.

Three of the victims have now taken legal action against the owners of the Century 16 multiplex, alleging the theater should have been equipped with an alarm system which could have stopped Holmes allegedly propping open a fire exit to get guns from his car.

Sometimes the task of getting people to flock to the movie theatres during the summer months can be tricky, as some would rather soak up the rays from the sun instead of those coming from the projector. The season kicked off big time with "The Avengers," which brought in a record $207.4 million during its first weekend. Performances by stars such as Robert Downey Jr., Chris Evans and Scarlett Johansson brought life to Iron Man,...

A Cleveland, Ohio, movie theater narrowly avoided becoming the location of a copycat crime following last month's tragic shooting during the midnight premiere of The Dark Knight Rises in Aurora, Colorado.

37-year-old Scott Smith was arrested Saturday night after trying to take a backpack full of weapons into a late night showing of the film; but an alert theater manager helped thwart a potential crime.

Police arrested Smith after the theater manager reported him to an off-duty officer moonlighting as a security guard for the theater, something numerous cinemas have added in the wake of th...

On Thursday, Dane Cook joked about last week's deadly Colorado cinema massacre during a stand-up gig at the Laugh Factory in Los Angeles.

He told the audience, "So I heard that the guy came into the theater about 25 minutes into the movie... And I don't know if you've seen the movie, but the movie is pretty much a piece of crap... I know that if none of that would have happened, pretty sure that somebody in that theatre, about 25 minutes in, realising it was a piece of crap, was probably like, 'Ugh, f**king shoot me.'"

In response to his "joke," some people laughed while others groaned th...
