Ryan Gosling in Gangster Squad
The latest trailer for Gangster Squad has hit the Internet, and with it come a lot of bullets and snazzy suits. The film follows a group of L.A. cops that drop their badges and hunt Mafiosos that come in from the East Coast.

Based on a true story, Brooklyn born Mickey Cohen (Sean Penn) heads to L.A. to become the drug and prostitution kingpin. 10 Presents To Give To Naughty And Nice Celebs

December 14th, 2011 2:00pm EST
Lohan
I must confess that I’m known for giving the best Christmas presents. With the big day less than two weeks away, I’m putting on my bedazzled Santa hat and taking over gift-giving duties for 10 celebs who have been naughty and nice this year.

Lindsay Lohan

It’s hard being a fan of an actor as troubled as Lindsay Lohan, who seems to be a magnet for mugshots, poor decisions and merry-go-round trips to the L.A. County Jail. My present to the star currently gracing the cover of Playboy in an awkward, overly airbrushed spread, would be the advice and guidance of a celebrity who have rebounde...

Emma Stone Needs 'Help' With Her Fashion Picks

October 6th, 2011 4:00pm EDT
Emma Stone
Emma Stone, who played the darling Skeeter in summer's surprise hit film "The Help," showed up to the British premiere of the movie yesterday wearing a white polka dotted dress.

The dress, with split sleeves, a cut out in the bodice, and a slit up the leg, did nothing for her figure. And some of her other recent dress picks were just as bad (or worse).

We love Emma and can't wait to catch her in "The Amazing Spider-Man." We just think she needs a fashion intervention. What do you think? Check out recent photos of her below:

Here she is at the L.A. premiere of "The Help" in August. The ...

How Ryan Gosling Resurrected The Movie Star

September 14th, 2011 11:00am EDT
gosling
Movie critics, driven to understandable cynicism by the onslaught of unnecessary remakes (there is no reason for another "Footloose") and re-imaginings of every superhero from the Green Lantern to a hammer-wielding Norse god, have declared the movie star extinct.  I think the stellar year actor Ryan Gosling, 30, is having is inspiring proof that the existence of the movie star in this entertainment climate is still possible.

For this lover of pop culture, a movie star is more than someone who makes a lot of films and walks a lot of red carpets.  It’s Julia Roberts in “Pretty Woman,” “Th...

Video Of Ryan Gosling Breaking Up A Fight In New York City - Was It Faked?

August 23rd, 2011 11:00am EDT
Ryan Gosling
Did Ryan Gosling really break up a fight on a New York City street, as we reported last night? He sure did, although a few websites are claiming the scene was faked. Watch the video below and judge for yourself.

Gosling is easily identified by his tattoos later in the video. This is either an actual fight - over a painting - or one of the most subliminal viral videos ever made. If this video was faked, Ryan Gosling would be immediately indentified (not "the guy from the movie") and we would get one perfect shot of his face at some point.

That's if the ad agency wasn't ingenious. That's ...

Review: Two Jews' Split Over 'Crazy Stupid Love' (Video)

July 27th, 2011 12:00pm EDT
Crazy Stupid Love
Two Jews on Film - By Joan Alperin Schwartz: 'Crazy Stupid Love' written by Dan Fogelman (Cars) opens with a shot of two sets of feet underneath a table in a restaurant. The feet belong to Cal Weaver (Steve Carell) and his wife Emily (Julianne Moore) Their feet are very far apart from one another...which tells us...something is not quite right with this couple.

As Cal studies the menu, he says to his wife...'Let's shout out on three what we want' But before he gets to three, Emily blurts out...'I want a divorce'. Not exactly what Cal was expecting.

Cal, up to now, has been living the...

Emma Stone's Angular Black Lace Dress - Thumbs Up Or Down?

July 20th, 2011 12:00pm EDT
Emma Stone
We adore Emma Stone, but we can't always support her fashion choices. The actress attended the "Crazy, Stupid, Love." New York City premiere yesterday wearing a black lace dress that protruded at the hips.

There must be something about the middle of her body that she wants to accentuate (or hide) because she wore an equally odd dress at the "Friends With Benefits" premiere (check it out HERE!)

What do you think of her look?

Emma is keeping herself quite busy these days. In addition to the films above, she also stars in the upcoming movie "The Help."

Steve Carell Loved Working With 'Goofy' & 'Child Like' Ryan Gosling

July 20th, 2011 8:43am EDT
Steve Carell
Steve Carell has found an unlikely new double act comedy partner in super-serious movie star Ryan Gosling.

The pair make an unlikely couple in new film "Crazy Stupid Love," but Carell insists "The Notebook" star was a hoot to work with - and he hopes they team up regularly.

He tells WENN, "Ryan is known for his dramatic work and being a very intense actor but he's so goofy and so silly and loved to improvise. He was sort of child-like on the set and so happy to be just playing and having fun and having the freedom to be goofy and silly.

"I haven't seen outtakes but there'll be plenty of ...

She didn't expose relationship details, but she got to the blonde roots of her Spidey sense, her girl crush, and how the gay rights movement prepared her for upcoming film "The Help."

Stone chats about:

'Harry Potter,' 'Super 8' & This Summer's Five Other Must-See Movies

June 9th, 2011 11:00am EDT
Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2
The perfect recipe for a summer must-see film boils down to this: it either has to be full of adrenaline pumping action that usually involves some supernatural powers, or it has to be outrageously funny and maybe even a little cringe-worthy, or it’s a romantic comedy, which, hey, is always in season.

This summer has already been kicked off to a start with a string of blockbuster hits. You’ve got your superhero action films, “Thor,” “X-Men,” and “Pirates of the Caribbean,” you’ve got a heaping dose of the funnies, with the record-breaking “The Hangover Part II” and its female equivalent, ...

Trailer Preview: Three New Movies To Be Excited About

May 9th, 2011 3:42pm EDT
Bridesmaids
I confess that I am one of those people who have to see the previews when I go to the movies. Trailers, persuasively edited, teasers for upcoming films, are designed to seduce and entice with flashes of movies’ brilliance set to powerful scores. They are movies at their absolute best. While I am a sucker for them, I’m blessed with the gift of knowing if I’m going to love or hate a movie solely on those two-minute gems. Being a trailer whisperer won’t bring in the big bucks, but it helps me avoid paying for bad movies that will be on DVD in a couple months. Thanks to my skills, I didn’t...

'Crazy, Stupid, Love' Looks Like The RomCom We've Been Waiting For (Trailer)

April 11th, 2011 2:00pm EDT
Crazy Stupid Love
After being spoon fed romantic comedy after romantic comedy with the same predictable plot line, it’s easy to lose interest – and quickly. But among the sea of generic films floating about in Hollywood, there’s bound to be one that renews our interest in the increasingly decadent genre.

Insert some crazy stupid love. No, really, “Crazy, Stupid, Love,” starring Ryan Gosling, Emma Stone, and Steve Carell just to name a few, none of which are virgins to romance nor comedy.

Steve Carell plays a middle aged man whose life comes to a sudden halt when his wife, Julianne Moore, confesses to being...
