Jason Momoa Brandishes His Big Sword At Hand Print Ceremony
Jason Momoa promoted "Conan the Barbarian" with a hand print ceremony at Planet Hollywood in Times Square New York City yesterday.
The actor, who also depicted Khal Drogo in HBO’s Game of Thrones, did a lot of research for his role in "Conan" for the sword fighting scenes. He explained, "I studied a lot of samurai films. I wanted to incorporate that, to take a broadsword and to wield it like a samurai sword was something that I wanted to do, so I studied a lot of films. I did everything, like reverse grip, and I just wanted to put that Asian influence into this Barbarian thing, bring s...

New 'Conan' Actor Jason Momoa: 'I'm Not That Good Of An Actor'
Conan the Barbarian is a literary legend from author Robert E. Howard, but he was made famous in the movies by Arnold Schwarzenegger. The new Conan the Barbarian movie reboots the legend, with Jason Momoa in the title role. You may know him as Khal Drogo from HBO’s Game of Thrones, but Momoa joked he had no problem separating his sword and sandal warrior characters.
“No, because I'm not that good of an actor,” Momoa said. “I don't get stuck. It's not like, 'You're not Drogo! You can't go around killing people!' I did Conan first. Game of Thrones got me Conan, but I shot Conan first. Then ...

Jason Moma Gave Up Beer For 'Conan' Six Pack
Ripped action man Jason Momoa had to give up his love for beer as he prepared to revamp Arnold Schwarzenegger's "Conan The Barbarian" character to get into shape.
The actor admits he loves to unwind with a six-pack but he had to switch to whiskey while he was getting into shape for the new blockbuster.
He says, "I'm a big fan of alcohol... I'm a big beer fan; I drink Guinness. But, during Conan, it was scotch, because beer makes you bigger... and a couple of beers to help get the dirt and blood off."
And his Conan diet left a lot to be desired: "I had to eat boiled chicken breast every t...

Trailer Talk: This Week In Movies - 'Fright Night,' 'Conan The Barbarian' & More
If you missed my interview last week, with Jesse Eisenberg and Nick Swardson for the action comedy “30 Minutes or Less,” definitely check it out. The superbly cast film, which is helmed by “Zombieland” director Ruben Fleischer, is loaded with hilarious pop culture references, entertaining action sequences, and great improvisational humor. If you liked what “Zombieland” did for horror comedies, you’ll love what “30 Minutes or Less” does for the action genre. My Grade: B+

Rose McGowan sizzled on the red carpet outside Regal Cinemas L.A. Live Stadium at the Los Angeles premiere of Conan the Barbarian Thursday night.

In the update of the Arnold Schwarzenegger 80s classic Rose plays Marique, a powerful witch (see pic below) who looks an awful lot like a Klingon from Star Trek.

Rose McGowan: 'I'm A Gay Man In A Woman's Body'
Conan the Barbarian star Rose McGowan insists she's got a lot of gay pride. In fact, the actress claims that she makes even her gay friends seem not as gay when she's around.
"I believe I'm a gay man in a woman's body, which my boyfriend doesn't like," she says.
"I only realized I was even gayer than all of my gay friends when I made one of them go to a Zac Efron movie."
Does this mean she thinks Zac Efron movies are "gay"?
McGowan recently took a trip to Nazi concentration camp Auschwitz in Poland and says the experience will haunt her forever.

'Conan The Barbarian' Has A New Trailer (Video)
What is best in life? To crush your enemies, see them driven before you... and to hear the lamentation of their women!"
It's hard to believe Arnold Schwarzenegger taught us such an important lesson nearly three decades ago in the guise of Robert E. Howard's great literary killing machine, Conan. Those who remember John Milius' original "Conan the Barbarian" recall that, like the current "Game of Thrones," it was pretty light on fantasy elements, more swords than sorcery.
While Milius took his spare visual cues from Akira Kurosawa and John Ford, director Marcus Nispel clearly had his eye...
