"Dr. Seuss' How the Grinch Stole Christmas" has been named the Worst Christmas Movie of all time in a new online poll. Editors at have compiled their top festive flops, and crowned the Ron Howard-directed 2000 release top of the pile.

Explaining their decision, a spokesperson for the site tells WENN, "A loud, garish and obnoxious film, certainly a career low for director Ron Howard - and it's not exactly Jim Carrey's finest hour (or two), either."

Tim Allen Signs Up For Martial Arts Movie

Funnyman Tim Allen is set to shock his fanbase after signing on to star in a martial arts movie. The 53-year-old, best known for films including The Santa Clause, Toy Story and Christmas With The Kranks, will play a Jiu-jitsu master in Redbelt.

Allen will star alongside Emily Mortimer and Joe Mantegna in the movie, which is being directed by The Fast & The Furious filmmaker Rob Cohen, reports trade paper Variety.
