Johnny Depp's Nine Sexiest Roles

May 9th, 2011 2:49pm EDT
pirates_of_the_caribbean_on_stranger_tides_depp-220
The sky is blue, water is wet, and Johnny Depp is ridiculously sexy.

These are facts you just can't argue with. If you tried to argue with that last one, millions of women (and a good number of men) would descend upon you with DVDs, posters, and issues of People Magazine as evidence.

He's just so... hot, what with the chocolate eyes and those sharp cheekbones. To top it off, the man is perhaps most irresistible as a pirate -- a promiscuous, unhygienic, clearly unbathed pirate -- as he proves once again reprising the role of Captain Jack Sparrow in "Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger ...

Movies With Heart: The 100 Best 'Romdramedies' Of The Past 20 Years

April 17th, 2008 8:00am EDT
Clueless
There's the quintessential romantic comedy, and then there's the romdramedy. Similar to a dramedy (in which there is an equal balance of humor and serious content), a romdramedy combines comedy and drama with that mushy thing we call romance.

Films like Magnolia and The Matrix were barred from competition, while films like Down with Love were considered (however, that one didn't make the cut)....

Juliette Binoche
Actress Juliette Binoche is taking time out of Hollywood to learn to dance. The Chocolat star has agreed to perform a contemporary dance work by choreographer Akram Khan at London's National Theatre next year - even though she has never had lessons in her life. Kahn has defended his unlikely casting, insisting Binoche is bound to be a natural.

He says, "She has been training a lot in the past year and I have no doubts of what she can achieve. From seeing her in some films such as Damage and Three Colours Blue I knew she had an ability not to be afraid of taking on demanding roles, and...
