Steve Martin's hilarious comedy Cheaper By The Dozen 2 hits video stores this week. The film centers on the Baker family, who takes a vacation and finds themselves competing with a family of eight children, headed by Jimmy Murtaugh (Eugene Levy). Also new this week: the gender-bending Transamerica, video game spawn Bloodrayne and teen Disney favorite High School Musical.

Sony Pictures studio executives slashed scenes from The Pink Panther remake and spent $5 million on reshoots to make sure the film was suitable for family audiences. The $80 million film was already finished when Sony acquired the distribution rights and executives decided the movie had a fatal flaw - Steve Martin's portrayal of bumbling French detective Inspector Clousseau made him look like a dirty old man.

Fun With Dick and Jane is a remake of the 1977 comedy in which a struggling couple (Jim Carrey, Tea Leoni) turns to robbery in order to pay the bills. In Cheaper by the Dozen 2, Tom Baker (Steve Martin) and wife Kate (Bonnie Hunt) want to bring their family together for a memorable summer vacation at the rustic Lake Winnetka. But their retreat soon becomes cutthroat when they enter a competition with the over-achieving members of a large family headed by Tom's long-time rival, Jimmy Muraugh (Eugene Levy).
