	William Wyler and Sam Goldwyn brought this movie to the screen about returning Veterans and together they brought forth one of the Screen's great movies. I must admit I am a bit partial, for I am a combat Veteran of another War, however it is timeless in the approach of the re integration of a combat veteran after being away from home for many years and the re adjustment into Society. The Title itself is so beautifully evocative, "The Best Years Of Our Lives" meaning that so many men are away from home the best years of their lives in the Service. The casting is done to perfection and the scene where Frederic March suprises his family is so moving that I dare anyone not to cry when Mryna Loy realizes who is at the door. I love this movie, and I encourage all to see it. Miss Loy and Messrs March, Goldwyn, Wyler, Andrews, are all gone now but they created a moving and memorable masterpiece for the ages. PS Miss Loy just before her Death was awarded an Honorary Oscar by the Academy. For a lifetime of impeccable acting.in comedies such as the The Thin Man to this moving and great drama which incidentally she was first billed. It is hard to imagine any other actress of her Era giving the performance Miss Loy gave in this great film.
