September 20th, 2013 8:48pm EDT
2013 Emmy Awards Predictions
?

It’s been a while since we’ve had such a wild card Emmy season. Last year, Homeland was all but a lock in each of its major categories, but after a shaky second season, some strong competition from other long-running shows, and a buzzworthy new Netflix series, things are really up in the air pretty much all over the place. Still, I’ll do my best to make some predictions in the big categories. Just remember: This year, pretty much anything goes.

OUTSTANDING DRAMA
Breaking Bad
Downton Abbey
Game of Thrones
Homeland
House of Cards
Mad Men

While I’d love to see Game of Thrones’ confident t...

June 7th, 2013 2:07pm EDT
Behind the Candelabra
Liberace's former lover Scott Thorson says the producers and stars of Behind The Candelabra wouldn't bail him out of jail, even after helping them make their film.

The 54 year old is the basis of the HBO film, which chronicles his and Liberace's relationship. He was arrested in Nevada in February for getting a hotel room with a credit card that wasn't his.

Thorson was released from jail last week, missing the premiere of the film. He's also battling colon cancer, which has sapped his personal funds. He tells The Sun, "Hollywood turned its back on me. Matt Damon or Michael Douglas would no...

March 8th, 2013 5:17pm EST
Behind the candlebra
Matt Damon had to undergo extensive tanning to prepare for bum-baring scenes as showman Liberace's gay lover Scott Thorson.

The movie star's love of boxer briefs left director Steven Soderbergh with a skin tone problem on the set and Damon had to stand almost naked in his garage for intricate spray-tan sessions.

He tells Entertainment Weekly magazine, "We realized that because of all the bejeweled Speedos (I had to wear) I was going to need my tan line to go all the way up so it wouldn't look weird.

"Every Sunday night this girl would come to my house, and I would stand in my garage and ...

Behind the Candleabra
Upcoming TV movie "Behind The Candleabra" may not be suitable for all audiences because it contains a lot of nudity, according to star Matt Damon.

The actor plays flamboyant pianist Liberace's gay lover in the HBO film, and some people may be turned off by the scenes.

In the new issue of Playboy Damon explains, "Normally I'd say no to nudity, but I just did a lot of it playing the long-term partner of Liberace. I mean, it's tastefully done... But this movie's not going to be for everyone."

Michael Douglas plays the entertainer, and the two actors strategically laid out how they would per...
