Actress Gabrielle Union has a shock is store for family members and friends who think they'll be invited to her lavish wedding - the guest list has been slashed by her husband-to-be Dwyane Wade.

The Bad Boys II star, who became engaged to the basketball player just before Christmas (13), admits many people who think they should be at the ceremony will not be getting an invite.

Bad Boys Will Smith and Martin Lawrence have topped a new poll of the best movie cop double act.

More than 15,000 film fans took part in the week-long vote, held to mark the release of Will Ferrell and Mark Wahlberg's new movie The Other Guys - and Smith and Lawrence, who have played cocky cops Mike Lowery and Marcus Burnett in two films, came out on top with 41 per cent.

Despite his legal woes and tarnished reputation, Mel Gibson was also a top pick - his Lethal Weapon films landed the Aussie actor and sidekick Danny Glover second place with 36 per cent.

Gabrielle Union has been dragged into a lawsuit filed by the estranged wife of her basketball star boyfriend Dwyane Wade, amid allegations the sports star has damaged their children by engaging in "sexual foreplay" with the actress in public.

Siohvaughn Wade has filed suit on behalf of the former couple's two sons, aged eight and two, claiming Wade has engaged in "extreme and outrageous conduct" with Union in front of the children.

Producer extraordinaire has mounted staggering productions, including the Pirates of the Caribbean franchise. His biggest task might be mounting a third Bad Boys film. Not only did the first film make movie stars out of Will Smith and Martin Lawrence, but now even the director is a star.

Bad Boys was Michael Bay's first film. He came back for Bad Boys II but that was before another franchise got its hooks in him.

Actress Gabrielle Union is expecting a child with basketball star Dwyane Wade, according to reports.

The Bad Boys II beauty has been romantically linked to Miami Heat player Wade in recent months, following her 2006 divorce from football star Chris Howard.

And now the couple is alleged to be preparing for the birth of its first kid after Wade shared his baby joy with a teammate in the locker room.

Actress Gabrielle Union is suing two men for invasion of privacy, after they posted a fake job advertisement looking for an assistant for the star. The two defendants, from Georgia, are alleged to have advertised the job of executive assistant on listings website, claiming they were acting on Union's behalf.

Actress Nona Gaye has quit NBC's drama Law And Order: Criminal Intent after only a short spell on the show. It is believed the star's hasty exit was prompted by creative differences that surfaced soon into the program's sixth season.

Gaye, the daughter of late soul icon Marvin Gaye, starred as the new assistant district attorney Ada on the show. She has been quickly replaced by Theresa Randle in her first major TV series after starring in the movies Bad Boys, Girl 6 and Spawn.

Former pro-surfer Jack Johnson has another surprise album hit on his hands - his Curious George soundtrack has shot to the top of the US charts. The reluctant superstar's companion album to the new family film, Sing-a-longs & Lullabies, sold 163,000 copies in the US in its first week on release to claim the top spot.

The disc also crashes into the top of the Billboard Rock Albums chart.

The album is the first soundtrack to take the number one spot on the chart since Bad Boys II achieved the same feat in 2003.
