Quentin Tarantino Reveals His Best And Worst Of 2011
The highly acclaimed Reservoir Dogs director, Quentin Tarantino, recently released a list of his Top 11 favorite movies of 2011, via The Quentin Tarantino Archives. The list is extremely varied, including a bunch of both mainstream and indie films. Although, some entries are quite unexpected, for example, The Three Musketeers was Tarantino’s 11th favorite movie. The number 1 spot was awarded to Woody Allen’s charming, Midnight in Paris, a complete opposite film compared to that of his favorite in 2010, a la, Toy Story 3.

Review: 'Attack The Block' Is A Delightful Assault On The Senses.
What I liked about “Attack the Block” was that it was happy to have fun within it's genre without making fun of the genre itself. “Shaun of the Dead” (which was from the same producers) for example, was a parody of Zombie movies, kidding them right up to the Zombie-bludgeoning-set-to-Queen-dance-number. “Attack the Block” is a funny movie about a very serious alien invasion. Trailer Talk: This Week In Movies - 'Cowboys & Aliens,' 'Crazy, Stupid, Love,' & More
“Captain America: The First Avenger” surprised me last week, by outdoing other summer superhero films like “Thor” and “Green Lantern.” Director Joe Johnston delivers a good old fashioned fun time injecting action, humor, and just the right amount of camp into the film. For more of my thoughts, check out my review.
This week you’ll have the chance to catch the sci-fi action epic “Cowboys & Aliens,” the romantic dramedy “Crazy, Stupid, Love,” the silly comedy “The Smurfs,” the British alien invasion flick “Attack the Block,” the independent drama “The Future,” the biopic “The Devil’s...
