Amy Adams
Amy Adams likes her red carpet dresses to make her "feel womanly".

The American Hustle star has stunned in a number of gorgeous gowns during awards season this year and claims there are a handful of designers - including Antonio Berardi, Roland Mouret and Victoria Beckham - she turns to when looking for the perfect dress.

She said: "There are certain designers who I refer to as zip-ons, designers who I have zipped on many times.

"I like to feel supported and all those designers I just mentioned have some internal structure that accentuates, rather than squishes. I want something that mak...

'Gravity', 'American Hustle' & '12 Years A Slave' Among Oscar Fr
This year's Best Picture Oscar winner may well have to defy "Gravity" to take home the coveted trophy. Alfonso Cuaron's groundbreaking interstellar thriller leads a pack of nine movies vying for the top prize on Sunday in Los Angeles.

The film was one of 2013's biggest blockbusters, earning over $700 million dollars at the box office. The movie centers on a routine spacewalk that goes wrong. After their shuttle is destroyed, a brilliant engineer (Sandra Bullock) and veteran astronaut (George Clooney) are abandoned in space, tethered to nothing but each other as they try to get back home a...

Oscar Predictions: Does 'Gravity' Carry Enough Weight?

Oscar Predictions: Does 'Gravity' Carry Enough Weight?
For the most part, the major categories at the Oscars are fairly easy to predict. But some years there are upset winners (‘Shakespeare in Love,’ Marcia Gay Harden, Juliette Binoche, Adrien Brody, to name a few) that remind us that anything can happen.

This year is a little different. Who remembers a year where the race for Best Picture is down to three films, two of which are so close that they tied at the Producers’ Guild? It seems like there are some definite locks this year (Hello, Cate Blanchett) but you read it here: Nothing is guaranteed. Nothing.

That said, here are the most likely...

Jennifer Lawrence's messy eating stained American Hustle dresses

January 30th, 2014 8:40pm EST
Jennifer Lawrence
Actress Jennifer Lawrence gave her American Hustle costume designer a dry-cleaning headache on the set of the Oscar-nominated drama, because she insisted on snacking in her movie gowns.

Designer Michael Wilkinson admits The Hunger Games star's snack of choice, cheesy Dorito chips, would leave small orange stains on one sexy outfit, a low-cut cream jersey dress, so he had to make sure he had spares.

He tells Vanity Fair magazine, "Jennifer Lawrence is a very... let's say... raw and intuitive young lady, and she's not against eating Doritos and snack food in her costume. So we were glad tha...

Movies that seemed to be sure-things in September are nothing but a distant memory to Oscar voters like Saving Mr. Banks and Lee Daniels' The Butler. Who will come out on top? Well, it no longer seems to be handed to 12 Years a Slave because Gravity and American Hust...
