Emma Stone has been asked about her Spice Girls fandom quite a bit while she tours around the world promoting her upcoming film Amazing Spider-Man 2 – so talk show host Graham Norton had to pull a Spice Girls-themed prank on her.

"I feel like I've been talking more about the Spice Girls on this press tour than I have about the movie," Stone told Norton during her appearance on the show. Of course, co-stars Jamie Foxx and Andrew Garfield were there as well.

Norton brought up the recent story from Australia, where Stone wept while listening to Mel B.'s message for her. "You understand in th...

The Amazing Spider-Man 2
Apparently only one superhero can out-dance Spider-Man, and that's an infant Spider-Man.

In a new advertisement for Evian water, the titular hero from Amazing Spider-Man 2 meets his match when he sees a younger version of himself in a reflection.

Eager to test the skills of his mini-me, Spidey shoots web, does the robot, backflips, and moonwalks along with several other moves to the tune of "Here Comes the Hotstepper."

Unfortunately, duty calls for Spider-Man and he has to go be a superhero – we'll call it a draw for now.

Electro - The Amazing Spider-Man 2
The latest trailer for The Amazing Spider-Man 2 is out - but does it spoil too much?

In the action-packed peek at the superhero film, titled Rise of Electro, Spider-Man's fame as a good guy appears to be growing in New York. However, that has a downside: more enemies are appearing with the intent on taking him down.

The trailer gives us a first look at The Rhino and Green Goblin in action, so if you want to be surprised at their modern outfits don't watch the trailer. Several other key plots are revealed in the clip as well, which has taken away some of the suspense:

Amazing Spider-Man 2
How many villains is too many? Spider-Man may find out in his upcoming movie, because B.J. Novak has been revealed as the fourth baddie in The Amazing Spider-Man 2.

Director Marc Webb spilled the beans when he promoted Novak's book "One More Thing" on Twitter. Webb posted, "Almost shot ASM2 in B+W til @bjnovak's (A. Smythe) promo for his excellent book ONE MORE THING beat me to it." Webb was referencing a black-and-white ad for the book.

One tidbit many picked up on, however, was the "A. Smythe" role attached to Novak's name. Who is A. Smythe? It stands for Alistair Smythe, the son of Sp...

2014 Super Bowl Commercials & Movie Trailers: Watch Them All Here!

February 3rd, 2014 12:28am EST
Like most of America, we thought that this year's Super Bowl between the Seattle Seahawks and Denver Broncos would have been a much closer game.

Seattle's dominance on both sides of the ball led to a very one-sided 43-8 victory, and unless you're a member of the Seahawks' "12th Man," the game itself was a bit boring at times.

Naturally, we expected some pick-me-ups during this year's commercials, but while Bruno Mars, whose halftime show with the Red Hot Chili Peppers was on par with the the dominance of Seattle (chalk it up as one of the best), the commercials were as lame as the Broncos...

The Amazing Spider-Man 2
A new TV spot for The Amazing Spider-Man 2 was released by Sony on Thursday, teasing that something big is about to happen in the new full-length trailer that's set to run during the Super Bowl this Sunday.

The teaser reveals a lot of what was already shown in the first full trailer, released at the beginning of December, but this 30-second preview ends with a huge cliffhanger: our hero catching girlfriend Gwen Stacy (Emma Stone) in mid-air and then the two crashing together through the glass roof of a skyscraper.

"See what happens next Super Bowl Sunday," a graphic then reads.

What happ...

December 13th, 2013 3:47pm EST
Spider-Man 3
Columbia Pictures has announced that at least two new films based on the Spider-Man franchise are in the works.

Two of the "several" planned films feature the web-slinging superhero's enemies Venom and the Sinister Six -- a group of supervillains that includes Electro, the main antagonist in next spring's The Amazing Spider-Man 2, played by Jamie Foxx.

Marc Webb, the appropriately and ironically named director of The Amazing Spider-Man 1 and 2, won't be directing any of the films, but he will be overseeing the story development for the spinoffs, according to

A lot of people have been saying that with three major villains The Amazing Spider-Man 2 has gone too far. Well if you think three villains is a lot, wait until the next film.

"We've always known that Spider-Man's most important battle has been within himself: the struggle between the ordinary obligations of Peter Parker and the extraordinary responsibilities of Spider-Man. But in The Amazing Spide...

Thor: The Dark World
Saturday was a huge day at this year's Comic Con, especially for Marvel studios.

The superhero movie-making factory had quite a few announcements to make, sending fans who were there (and who weren't there) into a frenzy over what's coming in the next two years.

To start, actor Tom Hiddleston reprised his role as Loki from "The Avengers," and the upcoming "Thor: The Dark World," trying hard to keep a straight face while in character to present the trailer for the "Thor" sequel.

Marvel also previewed next summer's sequel "Captain America: The Winter Soldier" and the highly anticipated "Gu...

Shailene Woodley 'Bummed' About Getting Cut From 'The Amazing Spider-Man 2'

June 20th, 2013 1:03pm EDT
Shailene Woodley
Actress Shailene Woodley's role as Mary Jane Watson has been cut from the The Amazing Spider-Man 2. Producers decided to hold off on introducing the character in the series re-boot until the third film.

Naturally, Woodley is disappointed.

"Of course I'm bummed," she tells Entertainment Weekly. "But I am a firm believer in everything happening for a specific reason. MJ only appeared in a few scenes and I wouldn't trade the experience of working with Andrew (Garfield) and Emma (Stone) for three days on set for the world. Based on the proposed plot, I completely understand the need for holdi...

Andrew Garfield Plays Basketball With Kids - In Full 'Amazing Spider-Man 2' Costume (Video)

May 23rd, 2013 1:07pm EDT
The Amazing Spider-Man 2

How many kids can say they hit the court with Spidey?

Andrew Garfield paused his busy shooting schedule for the upcoming blockbuster The Amazing Spider-Man 2 to play some basketball with a few lucky New York kids while still in costume.

A pair of amateur videos caught the star (and we're giving an educated guess it's actually Andrew, considering the security and entourage) trying his hand at a pickup game. He actually shows a few nice crossovers, and we bet it's not easy to see with that mask on.

After putting in a layup and missing a few shots, Garfield gives the kids high fives an...

April 16th, 2013 12:00pm EDT
Jamie Foxx as Electro
Recent set photos have revealed Jamie Foxx' look as villain Electro in the upcoming Amazing Spider-Man 2, and it's probably not what many people had in mind. A blue, creepy-looking Foxx stalks the streets of New York, his face glowing out from under his hood.

It appears Foxx is playing the "Ultimate" version of Electro, who differs greatly from the spandex-clad antagonist of the original Spider-Man. The Ultimate line of comics was launched by Marvel in 2000 to offer a separate storyline from their mainstream comics. All of their main books were re-launched, from Spider-Man (he is in high s...

It may be a dream come true for Paul Giamatti - the actor is in talks to play comic book villain The Rhino in "The Amazing Spider-Man" sequel.

The actor said in a 2011 interview: "I thought Rhino was the greatest thing when I was a little kid. It was a guy who was basically in this rhinoceros outfit and I always thought, 'Why don't they have The Rhino in one of their movies?'"

The Rhino was originally portrayed as a thug from a Soviet Bloc country who wore a suit that gave him super strength and speed. It also featured a deadly horn. In later comics The Rhino was a more sympathetic charac...
