What made the biggest impression when you downed the lemonade and chased the ice cream truck? Here are our Top 10.

10. ‘Dirty Dancing’ – 1987

Okay, so this is clearly a guilty pleasure, but how can it not define ‘summer’? Jennifer Grey and Patrick Swayze create the perfect coming of age story with lots of cute oldies and 80s dance moves. And no one puts Baby in the corner, just so you know.

Kristen Stewart's Game Changing Moment

November 14th, 2010 7:14am EST
Kristen Stewart

But did you know the actress acutally had a respectable career before that?

In 2002 Kristen starred opposite Jodie Foster in "Panic Room." She played a teenage girl who was imprisoned with her mother in the panic room of their own house. She also appeared in "The Safety Of Objects," in which she played a tomboy with a tro...

November 26th, 2009 9:44am EST
2009
As with every year there are dozens of great movies but there are even more really bad ones. 2009 will be marked by Quentin Tarantino and Sacha Baron Cohen comebacks along with a bevy of bad movies, highlighted by Megan Fox's performance in Jennifer's Body. There were plenty of good movies and we may have the most fun making fun of the bad and helpless ones, but let's take a look at the best movies of 2009.

Most blockbuster movies are filled with overrated stars (i.e. Will Smith and Tom Cruise) and are seemingly contrived, made only to make money. Thankfully this year there were not as ...

Starpulse Writer Compares Real Life To 'Post Grad'

August 24th, 2009 1:49pm EDT
Post Grad
I've always felt a companionship with Alexis Bledel due to her seven season stint as Rory Gilmore on the sorely missed "Gilmore Girls." I often imagined myself strolling through the Stars Hollow gazebo with Rory and her oh-so-cool mom Lorelai (Lauren Graham) before settling in for a night on their couch, rambling off sarcastic pop culture references at about 912 words a minute.

Now with the release of her new movie "Post Grad" Alexis and I have even more to bond over. I'm in the same situation as her character Ryden Malby, who is a recent college grad who failed to secure her dream job ...

Kristen Stewart
In anticipation of the August 25 release of Adventureland on Blu-ray and DVD, Kristen Stewart answered a few questions about the film as well as "Twilight" and its sequel, "New Moon."

"Adventureland" is about James, an uptight recent college graduate who discovers that he'll have to get a degrading minimum-wage job at a local amusement park. Kristen plays his co-worker Em, who helps James loosen up a bit.

Q: Was there anything fun about shooting on the actual theme park?

KS: Yeah, we weren't allowed to go on the rides until the end, and then they stuck us on the most dangerous ric...

During these hot summer months, nothing is quite as fun as jumping in your car, winding the windows down, turning the radio up, and hitting the blacktop in search of new adventures. Who's up for a road trip?

Now, before you fill up your tank, we should tell you that we're not talking about any old road trip. We're not talking about heading for the beach or the Grand Canyon. Sure, the typical tourist spots are gr...

Often our most life-changing moments seem to pass in the blink of an eye without a chance for us to even grasp them. Most people can empathize with a movie character who's stuck in a horrible, dead end job. We've all had that one job where we'd rather stab ourselves in the eye then go into the office for eight hours of pure torture. Whether it's a boring office job, a customer service-related job, or working at a run down amusement park for the summer like in Adventureland, some jobs are excruciating!

As a tribute to Adventureland, which opens today, we're spotlighting the worst jobs portrayed on film.

In The Pineapple Express, Seth Rogen plays a process server who serves people subpoenas to ap...

Celebrity Summer Jobs

April 1st, 2009 12:01pm EDT
Adventureland
Think back to the summer jobs you had growing up. It was probably a time before you really needed money, needed a job that would look good on your resume, or prepared you for your career. Summer jobs in high school and college are for pocket money to pay for movies and illicit six packs that your older sibling buys - the essentials for good summer living.

The upcoming film "Adventureland" is a trip down nostalgia lane, and not only because it's about a guy who just graduated college and has no idea where his life is going who takes a less-than-stimulating amusement park job. Set in 19...
