The Adjustment Bureau
The trustees of Philip K. Dick's estate have re-launched their legal battle with the producers of Matt Damon thriller The Adjustment Bureau, two months after the initial lawsuit was dropped.

The late author's executors claim the estate is owed money from the 2011 adaptation of the writer's sci-fi story, Adjustment Team, and filed a lawsuit last year targeting director George Nolfi, producer Michael Hackett, Media Rights Capitol and its subsidiaries.

The case was dropped in February after a judge threw out key parts of the suit, but representatives of the Philip K. Dick Testamentary Trus...

The lawsuit took aim at director George Nolfi and studio Media Rights Capital (MRC), claiming they backed out of their agreement over a copyright dispute, and demanded compensation for royalties plus interest and attorneys' fees....

Review: 'The Adjustment Bureau' 'Two Jews On Film' Say This One Needs An Adjustment (Video)

The Adjustment bureau
Do we control our destiny or do unseen forces manipulate us? That is the question 'The Adjustment Bureau' asks. The film is based loosely on a short story by Philip K. Dick and is directed and written by George Nolfi (co-writer of The Bourne Ultimatum).

Matt Damon plays ambitious New York politician, David Norris. David's just about to become the next Senator from New York, when a photo of him mooning a group of people, is brought to light. David loses the election but winds up meeting a beautiful ballet dancer (Emily blunt) in a Men's Room and...Yes it's love at first sight for both o...

Matt Damon
Matt Damon was left embarrassed and annoyed when a wine store clerk recently rejected the actor's credit card because he wasn't convinced his customer was the Hollywood star.

Damon recently relocated to New York with his wife Luciana and their four girls, and they have become frequent customers at the wine shop across the street from their apartment.

But one recent visit ended in disaster when a store employee failed to recognize the actor or his famous pal John Krasinski, who had been invited over for dinner with his wife, Damon's co-star in The Adjustment Bureau, Emily Blunt.

'The Adjustment Bureau' More Fun, Less Spectacular, Than Inception

3/2/2011 1:00pm EST
The Adjustment Bureau
They've shuffled the release date of “The Adjustment Bureau” as many times as they have, probably to avoid comparisons with Christopher Nolan's self-important masterpiece “Inception”. While they're both mind bending supernatural / sci-fi flicks, and “Inception” is epic in every sense, “The Adjustment Bureau” turns out to be far more fun.

Matt Damon is David Morris, a from-the-mean streets politician who meets Emily Blunt's Elise on the eve of Damon's first political defeat, and her candor and beauty inspire Norris to give an impassioned speech about honesty in politics. This chance meetin...

Trailer Talk: This Week in Movies - 'Rango,' 'The Adjustment Bureau' & More

2/28/2011 11:10am EST
Not only did I see last week’s comedy “Hall Pass” starring Owen Wilson and Jason Sudeikis, but I had the chance to interview its directors Peter and Bobby Farrelly. If you haven’t already, definitely check out my interview, and my review of “Hall Pass.”

I also hit theater to see the Ed Helms comedy “Cedar Rapids” which I thoroughly enjoyed. Helms stars as Tim Lippe, a small-town Wisconsin guy who’s dispatched to an insurance seminar in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. The naïve Lippe is shocked when he arrives at the conference, where three of the wildest attendees Dean Ziegler (John C. Reilly), Jo...

And she admits his fame actually caused problems when they stepped in front of the camera.

Blunt says, "It's actually a problem when you're shooting with someone like him because he's vastly famous. Wherever he goes, people are like... I feel like their brains melt. Y...

no strings attached
2011 is going to be a big year for movies, and if you’re anything like me, you tend to forget what’s coming out and wind up missing everything. So I took the liberty of compiling a list of movies that, in my opinion, are must-sees for 2011. In chronological order of release dates, we’ll start with...

The Green Hornet (Now playing)
The only superhero movie on this list, and it’s only on this list because it looks funny (like “Ironman”) instead of trying to be a cross between “Batman Begins” and “Watchman’ (I’m looking at you, “Thor”...). If you don’t know anything about “The Green Hornet...
