Presenting strangely good-natured confrontations between the greatest characters in film history, comes a hardback gift book collecting the sought-after "Great Showdowns" series by acclaimed pop artist Scott Campbell for the first time ["The Great Showdowns", Titan Books, October $14.95].

With a foreword by Neil Patrick Harris (a fan who owns several originals from the series), "The Great Showdowns" collects the most memorable moments of melee, interpreted by Scott in his inimitable style, including Chief Brody vs Jaws, Die Hard's John McClane vs broken glass, Ripley vs the Alien Queen and even Spinal Tap vs an undersized model of Stonehenge.

"The Great Showdowns" showcases the series first exhibited at LA's famous pop-culture Gallery 1988 in 2011. A second exhibition at Gallery 1988 will take place in anticipation of the book's release.

Scott Campbell (Scott C)'s watercolor paintings can be found in magazines, comics, children's books, video games, and galleries around the world. Some of his most notable projects include his first book Amazing Everything, illustrations for the children's books Zombie In Love and East Dragon, West Dragon, and art direction for the video games Psychonauts and Brutal Legend from Double Fine Productions. He lives in New York City.

By participating, all entrants agree to abide by these rules. Prizes Prizes are specified on the entry page. Entries and prizes are nontransferable. No substitutions are permitted, except that sponsor reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater monetary value for the grand prize. Winners shall be responsible and liable for any federal, state, and local taxes on the value of their prize. Selection A random drawing will take place within 10 days of the end of the sweepstakes. The number of eligible entrants will determine odds of winning. In the event of a dispute regarding the identity of the person submitting the entry, the entry will be deemed to be submitted by the person in whose name the email account is registered. The decisions of Starpulse.com are final and binding in all matters relating to this sweepstakes. Winner will be notified by email and/or telephone, as determined by Starpulse.com or its affiliated contest host. If a winner is found to be ineligible, an alternate winner may be also be selected from the pool of eligible entries. There is a limit of one entry per person per day.
