I'm sorry but what is it that you're basing your "preaching that all muslims are terrorists" argument on? Family Guy does not stereotype muslims; Family Guy stereotypes EVERYONE. The whole premise behind Family Guy's comedy (and frankly most comedy in general) is that you go in knowing that what you're going to see is JOKES, not what the comedian actually thinks. It's called satire.. look it up. Also, if that's not enough, here's a quote from 'Joe', the guy in the wheelchair, in the very scene depicted in the bottom of the article... "Now hang on there Quagmire, just because these few guys are terrorists doesn't mean all muslims are. Every ethnic group has their nutjobs."

I agree with you. I believe the priorty in a matter such as cancer, would be to helping the hospitals, and finding a cure. Like you said, though, it is a nice gesture and all, and I do hope that it puts lots of smiles on the young ones' faces.

The only thing I can think of is that while $20-50K would be a drop-in-the-bucket to an organization like St. Jude, it could be the difference between existing or not to a smaller charity.  I think it's not a small thing to improve the quality of life of children who are dealing with cancer right this moment (though I do agree this particular charity is rather odd and makes me wonder if there is some personal connection between the actors and the charity).  For what its worth, Jensen's co-star had his fans donate to St. Jude when his son was born last year, so maybe they just wanted to spread the love to another organization.

No offense intended at all, okay?  I don't even know who these particular people are, but I did read the article, and it just seems to me that a charity that donates hats to cancer patients is a bit . . . well, odd.  I mean, as I said, no offense intended, but wouldn't the money this celebrity's fans raise be better served at St. Jude or some other cancer research hospital?   Why spend money covering up the problem when one could work toward affecting a cure?  Either way, it's certainly a generous gesture, and I hope a great deal of money is raised. 

Just the facts please

Both scenes are in the same episode which depicts peter running down marathon runners to win the race. Then at some point later in the episode he is shown setting off two bombs using his phone. Who is trying to hoax who?
