Toledo Biography
Renaissance man Toledo -- a performer who deftly juggled roles as a soul singer, choreographer, actor, jazz musician, and poet -- grew up in the City of Angels and hit the dance floor at the age of 15. In seemingly no time at all, he established himself as a much-sought-after professional dancer and commenced a lengthy series of collaborations, as a dancer and choreographer, with musicians including Paula_Abdul, George_Michael, Toni_Braxton, Sammy_Davis,_Jr., Marvin_Gaye, and scores of others. In the mean time, Toledo also explored Los Angeles' underground poetry scene and both performed his own poetry and ad-libbed with artists including Macy_Gray and Angelo Fishbone, then founded a successful one-man production in the Los Angeles area, christened "The Toledo Show." In 2008, Toledo accepted one of his first big screen roles, as the bluesy, poetic narrator of Rachel_Samuels' ambitious noir pastiche Dark_Streets (2008). Nathan Southern, Rovi
