Special effects wizard Kit West has earned several major awards for his work and has worked on productions the world over. His awards include an Oscar for Raiders of the Lost Ark (1983), an Oscar nomination for Young_Sherlock_Holmes (1986), a BAFTA for Return of the Jedi (1984), and a Spanish Academy Award nomination for Todo Por la Pasta (1991).
