One of Canada's most revered entertainers, Dorothée Berryman led a successful career in acting and music. Born on April 28, 1948 in Quebec, Canada, Berryman launched her career on the stage, making her debut in 1971 in George Bernard Shaw's "Pygmalion" (1912). She appeared on "Nic et Pic" (Radio-Canada, 1971-77), but it was her role on the drama series "Des dames de coeur" (Radio-Canada, 1986-89) that launched her mainstream career.
