 David RayJitterbuggin' Baby Release Date 1997 04 22 Label Collectables Rating:  David Ray is known to rockabilly aficionados for &"Jitterbuggin' Baby" and &"Lonesome Baby Blues," which were among the most popular recordings issued by the Kliff Records label in the '50s. &"Lonesome Feeling" is Ray's other rockabilly cut, and all three songs are included on Collectables' The Best of Lin/Kliff Rockabilly and volume 15 of Bear Family's That'll Flat Git It series. Jitterbuggin' Baby doesn't advance the story very much, adding the one remaining Kliff side (&"I Am a Fool"), three previously unreleased recordings from the '50s with a strong country flavor, and a lackluster early take of &"Lonesome Baby Blues." This meager menu is filled out with four so-so country recordings Ray made in 1993.
