A Southern-born performer who struck an equal balance between acting and modeling, Ambre Lake studied music and dance at Troy State University in Troy, AL, then did graduate studies at Michigan State University, where she received her Master's in Fine Arts. Lake leapt into film acting immediately after leaving MSU, appearing in an uncredited role as the wedding coordinator in the 2002 Reese_Witherspoon-Patrick_Dempsey romantic comedy Sweet_Home_Alabama, and then in the shoestring-budgeted, barely released horror opus Dead_End_Road (2005). Lake made her next major film appearance with a supporting role in Paul_Leuer's offbeat seriocomedy Eden_Court (2008). She was prominently featured in the dating-themed competitive reality series Rock of Love with Bret Michaels, when she won the program's second season. Nathan Southern, Rovi
