Hope Solo's Husband Sent To Jail For Alleged Probation Violation
Soccer player and former "Dancing With The Stars" contestant Hope Solo's husband was jailed on Wednesday for a suspected parole violation relating to a recent domestic violence arrest.
Tampa police arrested former football player Jerramy Stevens, and he is being held without bond at Hillsborough County Jail.
Earlier this month, Stevens got in trouble in Seattle, Washington, on the eve of his and Solo's secret wedding. He was arrested on suspicion of fourth-degree assault after cops saw signs of a fight and blood on his shirt when they investigated a disturbance at a private party.

Hope Solo's Fiancé Arrested On Suspicion Of Assault
Hope Solo's fiancé was arrested on suspicion of assaulting the soccer star a day before their planned wedding on Tuesday.
The gold medal-winning Olympian was preparing to exchange vows in secret with football player Jerramy Stevens in Seattle, Washington, but the ceremony was called off after a bizarre bust-up on Monday.

Rumor Patrol: Maksim Chmerkovskiy's Slap, Spice Girls Vs. Usain Bolt, More
You can't go one week without hearing a ridiculous story involving some of your favorite celebrities. Thankfully, the Starpulse Rumor Patrol is here to sort out what's real and what's fake.
Maksim Chmerkovskiy's Slap: Hope Solo is promoting her book by claiming that her Dancing with the Star partner, Maksim, slapped her in the face and hit her while they were intense training sessions. "He wanted my head in a specific position. To achieve that, he slapped me across the face. Hard.... he was extremely apologetic."

Hope Solo Claims Maksim Chmerkovskiy Slapped Her, Maksim Responds
Former Dancing with the Stars contestant and USA goalie Hope Solo claims her pro dancing partner Maksim Chmerkovskiy hit and slapped her while training for the show. She revealed the claims in her book, Solo: A Memoir of Hope.
She writes, "He was often nasty, swearing at me and being harshly critical … I didn't like being treated like that, but I could take it.
"He manhandled me in rehearsals from the start, pushing me, whacking my stomach, bending my arms roughly. I thought that was just how it went – how dancers worked with each other. I was tough. I could take it.

'Dancing With The Stars' Finale Crowns J.R. Martinez The Hero Of The Ballroom
So last night ‘Dancing With The Stars’ crowned a new champion for it’s thirteenth season, and it was an outcome that I wouldn’t have predicted. Then again, I feel like I’ve been swinging back and forth all season, so it’s nothing new.
After Monday night’s show, Rob held onto the top spot, and I really hoped he would hang onto it. Here’s where the leader board stood on Monday:
1. Rob and Cheryl - 57
2. Ricki and Derek - 54
2. J.R. and Karina - 54
As usual, all the fallen stars took the stage in the first number, and it never fails to be kind of nostalgic. Which is weird, consid...

'Dancing With The Stars' Soccer Star Hope Solo Falls Short Of The Goal
Next week is the much anticipated finals of this season of ‘DWTS,' so of course last night was the much anticipated elimination to decide who was going to be in the final three. I was concerned for J.R. before I looked at the scores last night, but seeing that he actually fell eleven points behind the leader and nine points behind second place worried me more. Sure, Hope was still seven points behind him, but it surprised me. I knew he had a bad night, but didn’t realize quite how bad.
Here’s where the leader board stood Monday night:
1. Ricki and Derek - 67

'Dancing With The Stars' Semi-Finals Push Stars To The Limits
It’s the semi-finals, and the show is not going easy on our stars now. Last night they all had three dances to perform, with two individual rounds (the second with all of them doing the always fun Argentine tango, with it’s legal lifts), and then a relay dance. Unexpectedly, an injury hindered one of the front runners, giving one of the underdogs a chance to really shine.
Round One: Paso Dobles and Sambas
Hope Solo (goalie for U.S. women’s national soccer team) & Maksim Chmerkovskiy
Dance: Paso Doble
Scores: 7, 7, 7
Len said he liked the attack, but because there was so much of it, she...

'Dancing With The Stars' Week Eight Elimination Sends Nancy Packin'
Everyone always talks about how much it’s gotta hurt to be kicked off a show like ‘Dancing’ first, but I always think getting kicked off just before the end has got to hurt just as much. After eight weeks, last night’s results episode gave someone the boot right before the semi-finals.
Here’s how the leader board looked Monday night:
1. J.R. and Karina - 60
2. Hope and Maks - 52
2. Ricki and Derek - 52
3. Rob and Cheryl - 51
4. Nancy and Tristan - 44

'Dancing With The Stars' Week Eight Sees An Unexpected Comeback And The Season's First Perfect Scores
This season of ‘Dancing’ seems like it’s just flying by. It’s already week eight, and last night was the last competition show before the semi-finals. It was also the week to bring back the instant dances, and to award the first perfect scores of the season. If there was ever a time to get a second wind, it’s now, and Hope jumped at the chance to revitalize her game this week when Maks decided to (gasp!) act like an adult for the first time in weeks.
As a result of that, I may have thought last week that I knew who I wanted to win, but now I’m back to only knowing who I want to go home ...

'Dancing With The Stars' Week Seven's Surprising Elimination: David Arquette
I feel sorry for parents with teenage daughters who watch this show, because last night the Biebs was in the house. And they hyped it up like crazy, as he was really the only “star power” they had last night. The stars who are dancing are old news by now, especially on a night that they’re, you know, not actually dancing..
The team dances on Monday night shook up the leader board, most notably putting Hope in third place, two points above J.R.. Here’s where they stood after the team scores were added in:
1. Ricki and Derek - 53
2. Rob and Cheryl - 51

'Dancing With The Stars' Week Seven Takes Halloween To New Levels
This week ‘Dancing’ was “dead from Hollywood,” which was just the first in a string of goofy Halloween jokes sprinkled throughout the episode. It was also plagued by some truly retro-looking “spooky” CGI, because Halloween just isn’t campy enough for this show. And of course all the dances were Halloween-themed, some more successfully than others. Being a Halloween lover, and a lover of cloak-and-dagger theatrics, I loved the extra ridiculousness. Most of the time.
And Harold Wheeler’s zombie conducting was pretty impressive.

'Dancing With The Stars' Week Six Says Goodbye To Chaz (Finally)
Monday night, Ricki picked herself back up, J.R. gave us a little dose of amazing, Maks lost his cool (hard to believe, I know!), Nancy scored way higher than she deserved, and Chaz landed in the bottom spot, a full ten points behind the leaders. So it was interesting, to say the least. With the exception of Ricki and J.R., though, I can’t decide if it was interesting-good, or interesting-bad.
Here’s where the leader board stood on Monday night:
1. Ricki and Derek - 29

'Dancing With The Stars' Week Six Performances Go To Broadway
It’s Broadway Week at ‘Dancing With The Stars’, so of course the show was packed with drama. Not that it isn’t always, but this week we got more, including an extra group dance with all the stars together, a hysterical John Travolta impression from David, Monty Python music, a comeback for Ricki, and Maks opening his big fat mouth to say the wrong thing at the wrong time. Eh, such is Maks.

Rob Kardashian (reality star) & Cheryl Burke
Dance: Cha-cha-cha
Scores: 8, 7, 7

'Dancing With The Stars' Wicked Harsh Week Five Elimination: Carson Kressley
80s week came to an end last night, and fortunately for you dudes and dudettes, that means I’m going to have to stop with the 80s slang. Well, I don’t have to, but you’d all probably quit reading my totally tubular reviews.

'Dancing With The Stars' Week Five Performances Are Totally Bodacious
Last night ‘Dancing With The Stars’ brought back side ponytails, leg warmers, and music that either inspired nostalgia or mild embarrassment. Or both. Yep, it was 80s night, and while I was young in the 80s, it’s a decade that was hard to forget for anyone who lived through it. Honestly, I’m pretty sure everyone in the fashion and entertainment industries went insane for about ten years. Pants with stirrups? Check. Movies where mannequins came to life? Check. And I’m pretty sure I had an enormous sweater covered in graffiti of every color that was totally radical, dude.

'Dancing With The Stars' Week Four: Say Goodbye To Chynna Phillips
Last Tuesday I was so sure that Chaz was going to go home... and then he didn’t. A much better dancer did. It made me worried for Carson going into last night’s elimination. Then again, Chynna fell from a second place standing to being tied for second to last place with Nancy and Chaz. That is not a good place to be at all.

'Dancing With The Stars' Week Four Goes To The Movies
In a week, we lost another dancer, Brooke got a new last name (congrats, Mrs. Charvet!), and all the stars started freaking out. Yep, week four is about that time for the pressure to kick in, especially after the last elimination. The voters at home decided last week that sometimes dancing ability won’t save you.
Two weeks ago, I predicted that Kristin would make the top five. Well, I guess not. Meanwhile Chaz is still dancing. I swear, I’ll tear my hair out if we have another Bristol Palin phenomenon. I have a hard time seeing that happening, but it has before.

'Dancing With The Stars' Week Three Sends Home Reality Star Kristin Cavallari
Monday night had me sniffling off and on throughout the show, so I was crossing my fingers that Tuesday night’s elimination show wouldn’t also make me sad. Going into it, I was pretty sure it would be fine, and not just because Len was reported to be dancing on the show. It also just seemed obvious to me that Chaz would got home. Maybe Nancy. No big loss either way. But was I right?

'Dancing With The Stars' Week Three Pulls Our Heartstrings
Every season we get a week with the personal stories, and this season is no different. This week’s theme was the “most memorable year” in our star’s lives. Based on the show’s intro, I went searching for some tissues when the opening credits started.
Here’s how the night went:
Rob Kardashian (reality star) & Cheryl Burke
Dance: Foxtrot
Scores: 8, 8, 8
Len said Rod put the “dash” into Kardashian. I thought he was going to say “dashing”, but ok. He also thought Rob’s footwork and posture were good. Bruno said he liked the way Rob was starting to “play” with Cheryl, and that the...

'Dancing With The Stars' Week 2 Elimination: Elisabetta Canalis Dances Her Last Dance
It was a mostly lackluster Monday night on "Dancing With The Stars," but that’s bound to happen when you throw a bunch of almost-celebrities together in a position totally out of their comfort zones. Some weeks it just works a lot like herding cats.
Well, that’s probably a little harsh, but the day I start taking this show too seriously, it’s time to stop watching. That time hasn’t come yet, obviously, so last night it was time to sit down and watch all the flashy filler, waiting for the only thing I wanted to hear, who was going home.

'Dancing With The Stars' Week Two Performances
Last week we rejected World Peace... or Metta, or Ron, or that guy who couldn’t dance, or whatever you want to call him. This week we’re down to eleven contestants, and the show threw two of the hardest dances at them, the jive and the quickstep. Let the dancing newbies start slow and build up, you say? Never!

'Dancing With The Stars' Week One Elimination: Ron 'Metta World Peace' Artest Leaves The Dance Floor
Who gets the boot first on DWTS? That’s the question on the minds of viewers, dancers, and stars alike going into the first elimination of the season. Well, any elimination, really, but the first one is always the worst. It’s the one where the excitement of the new season gives way to the “oh yeah, there’s a sucky part of this too.”
But before we got to the elimination show, we got an hour to “meet the cast”. Highlights included a clip of Chaz admitting he’s scared of Cheryl, Carson excitedly announcing a crush on Maks while trying on Maks’ clothes, and J.R. giving us a glimpse of his ...

'Dancing With The Stars' Week One: The Pomp And Flash Begins (Again)
Tuning in to the first night of any season of ‘Dancing With The Stars’ feels a little like the opening night of a circus. There are lots of flashy costumes, drama, and the worry that someone might fall off the high wire or have a lion confuse its tamer for a juicy steak. Only on ‘Dancing’, the fear is more about falling off the high heels or having a “star” confuse their partner with a Twister board.
It’s also the night we get to see if our presumptions about how well certain stars will do are going to go how we want them too. There are obviously late bloomers, but you usually know on n...
