O.J. Simpson '30 For 30' Moves From ESPN To ABC
Taking advantage of the renewed buzz around all things O.J. Simpson, the 30 for 30 documentary "O.J.: Made in America" is moving its first episode from ESPN to its broadcast network sibling ABC.

Back in January, ESPN announced the project with a premiere at the Sundance Film Festival followed by a planned debut on the network. But now, as Simpson-related stories are all over the airwaves, "Made in America" is going for a bigger audience in primetime on ABC.

Esquire Network is capitalizing on the renewed popularity of the O.J. Simpson murder trial by bringing the courtroom footage back to television. The network announced Thursday that it will air a "12-hour special" called The Real O.J. Simpson Trial on Sunday, Apr. 3 starting at 9 a.m.

But the program isn't actually a special, nor is it a pure re-broadcast of video from the trial. Instead, the network has divided up the material into a dozen one-hour "recaps" with each hour focusing on a particular sampling of footage from the trial that took place between Nov. 1994 and Oct. 1995.

O.J. Simpson won't be able to watch American Crime Story: The People Vs. O.J. Simpson on FX, which debuts Tuesday night.

According to Inside Edition, O.J. really wants to see the special about the murder trial. However, the prison where he is currently being held doesn't get FX. Because, you know, it's a federal prison.

O.J.'s friend Tom Scotto says that the former NLF running back would watch the show if he got it.
