| If you are any kind of a man, you will condemn Letterman for the rotten remarks. Do the right thing Alex. Letterman is a dirtbag. Don't be like him. | ||

@couldntgetabettername: if you were famous, how would you feel/deal with it if everywhere you went people recognized you and everyone wanted to get a picture with you, every day, every time you were out in public trying to do your own thing? I'm not condoning, sympathizing, etc., A-Rod's behavior (in fact, I'm a die-hard Yankees fan and I don't really care much for him either), but every person who tells a story similar to yours always fails to look at the other side of it. Saying hello, shaking hands, maybe even having a conversation for a few minutes are things that to me are much more valued than going up to a star and just flat out asking for something like a picture or autograph. Standing there watching them sign a ball does nothing for me. A handshake and a few words is much more personal and meaningful. I can buy a signed ball at the local sports store.

Not too friendly. Went to Tony's Italian Grill on Park Row in Arlington, Texas (next to Pantego Christian Academy) yesterday with my sister and my girls(6 & 8). We were the only ones in the restaurant except a party of four (4) guys. Two (2) guys wearing white polo style shirts with "Derek Jeter Foundation" printed on them, Derek Jeter and Alex Rodrigutez. I'm not a big sportsfan myself, but I wanted to get a picture for my husband, Mike. After they were finished eating, and preparing to leave, I asked if I could get a picture of them with my two (2) girls. A-Rod kept on walking and got into their chauffer driven black Escalade, but Jeter stopped, turned around and posed. Oh well, A-Rod has a reputation for not being known as a nice guy but Jeter was a perfect gentleman. Thanks, Mr. Jeter. Boo, A-hole...er A-Rod.

I have heard that he is arrogant, succinct in his comments on either his private affairs or fans who dismiss him as distant and affected by his monetary status. I see him as a beautiful athlete, face & body one in the same, he's strikingly handsome and very much a focused professional. I think he is very aware of his looks, and sexual power dis-spite being elusive with the public. So most people hate what they can't have or understand. He's not a complicated person, but his refined appearance dispels his intellectual shortcomings and he thrives on self improvement.

NOT ONLY IS HE THE SEXIEST MAN ALIVE HE IS THE GREATEST PLAYER OF ALL TIMES. I'LL ALWAYS BE A FAN NO MATTER WHAT TEAM HE PLAYS FOR. I THOUGHT THE YANKEES TREATED HIM BADLY. IF I WERE HIM I WOULD OF WALKED TO TEACH THE YANKEE ORGANIZATION THAT YOU CAN'T TREAT PEOPLE LIKE THAT AND THAT APPLIES FOR TORRE. THEY LET A GREAT MAN GO. SHAME ON THE YANKEES. I LOVE YOU ALEX. LOOK FORWARD TO SEEING YOU PLAY SOON. IT'S BEEN A LONG WINTER.

| If the Yankees let him opt out it will be the most bone head move in the Yankees history. They better open the check book and give him a blank check to fill in the amount. The same goes for Mariano Rivera. I realize that Mo has been a part of the Yankees well before Alex but A Rod will carry the Yanks to more future championships well after Mo is gone. What about Jeter? Alex dwarfs Jeter in all aspects of the game. | ||

| I have been an A Rod fan since he was a Mariner and although I am a Yankee fan since Mantle,I alway and I do mean ALWAYS felt that A Rod's the best all around MLB player in the History of modern day baseball. I love the guy and what he brings to the table in every game! Even when he slumps. | ||
