Mickey Mantle was one of baseball's greatest players. He spent his entire career with the New York Yankees (1951-1969) and was inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame in 1974. As a result of his baseball prowess, Mantle became a national hero and was featured in numerous documentaries and sports videos.
