16 Hollywood Stars & Their Supercars
Honda. Ford. Chevy. These are all household names. We see them every day driving to work, or while going to grab a cup of coffee on the corner, or from our office window. But for those who can afford it, vehicles offer something else - status. And those vehicles are fast and loud, and they grab -no- command attention wherever they go. Whether it's through sleek, formula 1-like styling, or monstrous engines that roar like lions and move like...

Style Watch: Celebrities Fragrances Dominate The Market

August 4th, 2010 6:05am EDT
Celebrity Fragrances
Jennifer Aniston and Mary J. Blige recently joined the ongoing list of celebrities who launch their own personal fragrances. It seems you haven't really made it unless you make an attempt to market your scent in a bottle (or publish a book).

Celebrities have the power to create, or at least have someone else create, anything to promote their name and rake in more money. Clothing, shoes, bags, restaurants and perfumes are just a few ways celebrities brand themselves.

But who started the celebrity fragrance trend? It certainly wasn't Jennifer Lopez or Paris Hilton.

Elizabeth Taylor has lau...

Bugs Bunny, that iconic, carrot-smacking, wisecracking wabbit is 70 years old! In 1940, “A Wild Hare” debuted, introducing Bugs, and his nemesis Elmer Fudd, to the world. Here is where we first heard “What’s up, Doc?”and saw the beginning of how clever Bugs Bunny always outthinks and tricks his foes. Bugs Bunny is funny at its purest—Bugs Bunny building a salad on Elmer Fudd’s head in the barber shop, his fights with Daffy Duck and Yosemite Sam, his conducting the opera and making the poor singer gasp for air—the situations and laughs are endless! Bugs’ appeal is universal; the seven-year- ...

ESPN's '30 For 30': 'The Two Escobars' A Must See Documentary

June 22nd, 2010 9:34am EDT
Two Escobars
Although I had been playing soccer for some years before this, the summer of 1994 was really where my Soccer-As-I-Know-It life began. The first professional match that I ever saw live was also a World Cup knockout round match in which Robert Baggio (who would go on to become one of Italy’s biggest football legends) single-handedly destroyed Nigeria with two very late, very fabulous goals. Personally speaking, this was the moment I became an Italian lifer. That World Cup, played on U.S. soil, will forever be remembered for two things: Baggio’s missed penalty kick that handed the title to Br...

He's not the only sports star who has promoted or launched an underwear line - Michael Jordon has been doing that for years with Hanes. Orioles pitcher Jim Palmer modeled for Jockey. And soccer star David Beckham stripped down for Armani.

Oh, and let's not forget New York ...

'American Idol' Banter: The Top 5!

AMERICAN IDOL
Paula Abdul typically isn't sober during "American Idol" broadcasts. Michael Jordan is the greatest basketball player of his generation. Starbucks has way too many locations for its own good. Lil Rounds and Anoop Desai were voted off "Idol's" double elimination Wednesday night.

What do those four sentences have in common? Each one has zero element of surprise.

It can be argued that Allison Iraheta's presence in the bottom two (not three, because Lil was unceremoniously booted without any waiting around) was a surprise, but I would argue that it didn't matter one bit. In fact...

In honor of the movie's positive message, we've put together a list of some of our favorite movies featuring top dogs (and the occasional cat).

The same goes for curses, something that no sports player really like to talk about. The most famous curse is that of the Billy Goat, which seems to have decimating the Cubs, as they haven't been to a World ...
