50 Cent And 16 Other Absolutely Horrific Celebrity First Pitches

May 28th, 2014 2:32pm EDT
50 Cent
By now you've probably seen rapper 50 Cent's poor attempt at a ceremonial first pitch at last night's Mets game, but he's just one of many celebrities that should stick to the talents that made them famous. In case you missed it, check out Fiddy's toss below, then check out some other truly terrible tosses by celebrities.

Baba Booey (Gary Dell'Abate)

It was questionable to even offer Howard Stern's producer a chance to throw a ceremonial first pitch – what did they expect to happen? While he didn't go for the cliché fake windup that dooms so many other celebrities, his toss still fl...

'Dancing With The Stars' Goes 'Gangnam Style'

The song has made Korean singer PSY an overnight sensation as his hit single continues its reign as perhaps the biggest guilty pleasure since Los Del Rio's "Macarena" in the mid-90s. "Gangnam Style" refers to a lifestyle associated with the Gangnam district of Seoul.

Tuesday PSY was spotted at the United Nations Headquarters ...

Who Will Be A 'Dancing With The Stars' All-Star?

May 16th, 2012 2:07pm EDT
Mario Lopez
We knew back in April, thanks to a loose-lipped Mario Lopez, that ABC would be airing an all-star version of their dancing competition Dancing with the Stars. Finally, the network has officially announced the alternate version of the show, which lets us wonder - who will be on it?

Lopez, obviously, is in unless ABC is sour that he let loose he was asked to be on it before the network announced the show. TV Guide reported Melanie "Scary Spice" Brown, Sabrina Bryan, Gilles Marini and Kyle Massey are in.

The other night, Tom Bergeron said past winners would compete as well. That means Kelly ...

What 'Dancing With The Stars' Finale Lacked – Unpredictability

May 26th, 2010 11:07am EDT
Erin Andrews
“Dancing With The Stars” is a great idea for a television show – get a handful of some famous faces, pair them with professional dancers and dress them up in sparkly outfits while they get harsh criticism filled with double entendres. As season 10 came to a close last night, it’s clear that audiences have really grown to love this formula as the show’s ratings top the juggernaut that is “American Idol”.

However, here’s one complaint – the celebrities with the dancing experience always place the highest! Ok so DWTS is a show based around competitive dancing. It’s like the free market where ...

This was definitely one of the most closely contested finales in Dancing With The Stars history. Gilles Marini, Shawn Johnson and Melissa Rycroft all have proven to be excellent dancers, but tonight their creativity and prominence were tested. The three remaining finalists had to compete in the Paso Doble face-off and the highly anticipated freestyle round.

Before the stars headed into their group Paso, each judge stopped by the help improve their individual solo. Len Goodman visited Gilles, urging him to find a balance to make his Paso less hectic. Bruno Tonioli encouraged Shawn to be...

Ty The Next To Go On 'Dancing With The Stars?'

May 12th, 2009 10:21am EDT
Dancing With The Stars
The Dancing With The Stars semi-finals lived up to expectations as each of the four remaining couples performed a ballroom and a Latin routine, earning them scores to hopefully propel them into next week's finals.

Before their first routine, each couple analyzed their favorite dances from the past nine weeks. Melissa Rycroft and Tony Dovolani picked the foxtrot and the samba to take cues from. She wanted to have a great frame like in the foxtrot and use her hips to the same extent that she did in the samba. Gilles Marini and Cheryl Burke, the highest scoring couple of the season,...

Who Will Go To Semi-Finals Next Week On 'Dancing With The Stars?'

May 5th, 2009 9:47am EDT
Dancing With The Stars
Dancing With The Stars brought the pressure of two dances this week, forcing the competitors to put their best foot forward and prove who deserves to make it to the semi-finals next week.

Shawn Johnson and Mark Ballas were first up this week with the quickstep. The two performed a perky routine to a song from Aladdin, which earned them an audience standing ovation. Len Goodman called the dance fun, joyful and carefree. He said he was pleased to see Shawn's personality shine through instead of coming across flat. Bruno Tonioli told Shawn she danced like Sporty Spice with precision...

Lil' Kim Shines On 'Dancing,' Melissa Isn't Able To Perform

April 28th, 2009 8:42am EDT
Dancing With The Stars
Gilles Marini and Cheryl Burke kicked off the evening of Dancing With The Stars with a crazy Lindy hop. Gilles, like many other stars this season, has been dealing with an injury. His shoulder was hurt, but the doctor gave him a cortisone shot and he continued to push through rehearsal. However, the Lindy hop involves difficult lifts. Gilles worked through the pain and pleased the judges, though.

Carrie Ann Inaba said she was pleased to see a brand new side of Gilles. Bruno Tonioli thought that it was good to see a sense of comedy from the usually sexy, sensual guy. Gilles received a ...

'Dancing With The Stars' Mixes It Up

April 21st, 2009 9:32am EDT
Dancing With The Stars
The Dancing With The Stars celebrities were very busy multi-tasking this week. They not only learned an individual routine and a group dance, but they helped style their professional partner. This week the couples mixed it up and performed a variety of routines.

First up was Melissa Rycroft and professional partner Tony Dovolani performing the Argentine Tango. Melissa's newfound stardom allowed her a behind the scenes look at the Desperate Housewives set with Teri Hatcher. Of course this shameless plug was to help Melissa learn how to be a, in Bruno Tonioli's words, "a man-eater." Mayb...

Steve-O Gets The Lowest Score Of The Night On 'Dancing'

April 14th, 2009 9:11am EDT
Dancing With The Stars
Dancing With The Stars reached the halfway point of the competition, and with only 8 stars left they have to prove whether they are "contenders" or "pretenders." This week the couples danced either the romantic rumba or the fun, energetic jive.

Ty Murray and Chelsie Hightower were up first performing the jive. After some harsh critique last week from the judges, Ty decided he needed to loosen up. All the judges agreed that he was giving it his all, but that it wasn't that great. Judge Len Goodman told Ty he was charming, but looked bewildered while dancing. Bruno Tonioli thought the li...

This week the nine remaining contestants on Dancing With The Stars had to prove their resilience while performing either the Paso Doble or the Viennese waltz.

Chuck Wicks and partner/girlfriend Julianne Hough had the chance to perform a romantic Viennese waltz this week. Judge Len Goodman thought that Chuck had finally come out of his hibernation and performed much better than the previous weeks. Bruno Tonioli encouraged Chuck to keep his confidence all the way through his routine to earn a better score. But, Carrie Ann Inaba said he lost focus while dancing and that it didn't come tog...

'Dancing With The Stars' Awards The Season's First Perfect 30

Dancing With The Stars finally broke the point barrier and gave three stars the highly coveted ten. The show not only gave out this season's first perfect thirty, but also introduced the audience to two new dances - The Lindy Hop and the Argentine Tango. The Lindy Hop is similar to the jitterbug in its playfulness with flicks and kicks and lifts. The Argentine Tango is a dance of passion and sensuality. Also, based on Monday's performances, two stars will be going home Tuesday in a double elimination.

David Alan Grier and partner Kym Johnson were up first dancing the Lindy hop. David ...

'Dancing With The Stars' - Denise Bombs; Shawn, Gilles & Melissa Blow Everyone Away

March 24th, 2009 8:40am EDT
Dancing With The Stars
It's the third week of Dancing With The Stars; the judges already have their favorites and those who they can barely tolerate. But every week something changes the contest, just a little bit.

This week, Denise Richards, who has fared pretty average the past few weeks, fell from grace. After performing her samba, Carrie Ann Inaba thought that Denise looked frightened to death. Len Goodman explained that the samba is one of the most difficult dances, but that Denise lacked the Latin kick that the dance needed. Bruno Tonioli said her routine was flat and full of holes. Not much worked out...

Len Goodman commented that her bust was too big and it led to some bad posture. Bruno Tonioli said she looked like she was chasing after a bus her legs were so frantic, and Carrie Ann Inaba felt like Holly and Dmitry didn't do equal work dancing. She got three 6's which ...
