| A funny "good ole boy" from La. Terry once lived 2 blocks from me in my hometown of Camanche, Iowa. It was during the early 60's, for about 2-3 years. I played baseball with him as a kid. He is about a year and a half older than me, and was an excellent BASEBALL player. If he would have stayed in Iowa, I'm sure he would have been a lineman for our State-ranked football team. It was a small high school with about 250 student body. I have followed his career all the way through high school and college in the south, and became a "STEELERS" fan when they drafted him out of La. Tech. A great guy, and had a chance to meet him again in Pittsburgh while there for the 1000th game in Steelers history, Fox Sports pre-game's first visit there to an AFC city. Great memories. | ||
