Tiki Barber To Return To The NFL

March 9th, 2011 9:38am EST
Tiki Barber
After an unceremonious and abrupt end to his NFL career, former all-pro running back Tiki Barber confirmed via twitter that he will be making a comeback to the NFL at age 36. He is the Giants all-time rushing leader. Barber retired in 2006 after straining his relationship with the New York Giants organization. He would go on to become a football analyst for NBC and made disparaging comments about his former head coach Tom Coughlin and QB Eli Manning. The Tiki and Eli saga played out publicly as both lashed out at each other various times during 2007.

After his retirement Barber made the su...

'Project Runway' Episode Recap: Episode 4

December 6th, 2007 1:38pm EST
Project Runway
Ah, womenswear. Last week's episode made us miss the world of female fashion, the kind that demands more variety than Tiki Barber's conservative tastes.

This week's challenge was to recreate a God-awful trend, and refashion it to make it cohesive and relevant for today. The contestants broke up into groups of three, and struggled to combine the three individual looks they picked into a cohesive group presentation.

Team Ricky found itself in the most trouble. Ricky Lizalde's trend was neon, Victorya Hong's was underwear as outwear, and Elisa Jimenez chose tacky cut outs (really, c...

"You won't be needing your models for the next challenge," Heidi Klum told the 13 remaining designers of Project Runway's new season. This week's challenge was a first for the show. The designers didn't take on Sarah Jessica Parker, dog-toting celebutantes or a pile of trash, instead they had to tackle menswear. This was unchartered territory for "Project Runway." They were expected to design a look for Tiki Barber, a running back for the New York Giants and correspondent for "The Today Show."

Immediately, the designers looked frazzled. After watching Jack take off his own shorts to m...
