| I was reading about Amy and the lawsuit that she is now in. I have mixed feelings about it but I understand where she is coming from. It took me until the end of the article to totally understand her motivation. I didn't lose a husband, but I lost my father to the same thing that John Ritter died from. My dad has been gone for 9 years. He died a week before Christmas in 1998. The eerie thing is that he went into the hospital on September 11, 1998 and John Ritter also went in on September 11 years later. I hope that through this lawsuit she is able to raise awareness about this problem. We tried to sue and we were told we had to settle with the doctors. We found out later that the main doctor responsible had another lawsuit against him at the same time. I pray to God he is not practicing now, but I don't know. I have often wished I could contact Amy and share with her that it does get easier, but it takes time. I will always miss my dad. He's missed me getting married and having a baby. I know that their little girl will have to go through the same thing one day. My heart just really goes out to her. I pray that she is doing well. | ||
