Jane Wyman was a Warner Bros contract player and thru a series of great films in the late l940's and early l950's became major Hollywood star. An Oscar winner for "Johnny Belinda" Miss Wyman also starred in a series of great tearjerks such as "Magnificnet Obsession" "The Blue Veil" and lastly "All That Heaven Allows". Jane Wyman who died recently at age 93 worked with many of the top professionals of the Industry such as Douglas Sirk, Frank Capra, Billy Wilder, and co stars like Rock Hudson, Fred McMurray, Producer Ross Hunter and and others too numerous to mention. Very professional in her work habits she returned to work the tryranical matriach of a Wine Growing Family in the Napa "Falcon Crest". As the feared Angela Channing, Wyman gave a great performance and was the center of the series for 9 years. Where some actress would have made Angela Channing a hateful hag, Wyman gave a performance that had the audience in her corner all the time. A great Lady she never ever publically commented on her marriage to President Reagan. She stands alone as the Only Divorced Woman married to a President of the United States. Miss Wyman devoted herself to numerous Catholic Charities in retirement and her recent death leaves Hollywood deprived of a true classic actress and a very classy Lady. She was a long time friend of Loretta Young and together they attended Catholic Mass daily. She was also friends with Barbara Stanwyck. | ||

| I love Jane Wyman. Didn't care to much for ronnie because he divorced Jane. Where could I get photos of her and what killed her and did she have athritis? | ||
