	Joanne Woodward has been a star for over 50 years. Joanne Woodward won her only Oscar for her billiant performance in "Three Faces of Eve" which she did under contract to 20th Century Fox where she also did "The Long Hot Summer" with Paul Newman and Lee Remick; "Rally Round the Flag Boys," and "The Stripper" with Richard Beymer, among many other movies. Joanne Woodward is very private Lady, however I met her once in New York when she was directing an off off Broadway production of "Golden Boy". Lovelier even in person than on the screen, a true Lady, and very dignified and very open. Miss Woodward has worked with many of Hollwood's finest actors such as Marlon Brando, Anna Magnani, Sean Connery, Myrna Loy, Yul Brynner, Jason Robards, Robert Wagner, Sidney Poitier and of course her husband Paul Newman etc. Joanne Woodward and Paul Newman Paul are considered icons of the Cinema and great Citzens thru their shared Philanthropy thru the Newman's Own Food Corporateion When people knock Hollywood and the misbehavor of stars some should then look at the character and career of Joanne Woodward for her examplary behavior off the screen and her splendid performances on screen. Joanne Woodward seems incapable of giving a poor performance.
