January 1st, 2014 12:07pm EST
Kim Kardashian
Can you believe 2013 is coming to a close already? At least 2013 will leave a lasting legacy when it comes to Fashion Fails. We present The Failies, the worst in fashion this year - along with some surprise special categories you have to see to believe. In Part one we will be looking at the first half of the year's fashion fails, as well as revealing one of the Worst Trends of the Year and the Worst Dressed Male of the Year.

Kim Basinger
It's Fashion Fail Time! That means we take a break from letting you know how good all of your favorite stars look to show the other side of fashion: the fails!

Kim Basinger got rave reviews from other sites for wearing this 20s-style suit that would have looked awkward on a man attending a film premiere, let alone Kim Basinger. The dark red lipstick and slicked-back hair just add to the creepy flair - she looks like The Joker.

Perhaps Kristen Wiig's gown would be on the edge of good fashion at the premiere of some indie flick or even the Met Gala, but at the Anchorman 2 premiere it si...

Miley Cyrus
It's Fashion Fail Time! That means we take a break from letting you know how good all of your favorite stars look to show the other side of fashion: the fails!

Miley Cyrus actually covered herself for once, but I don't love those odd sleeves. They look like giant suction cups, or maybe from an outfit in a Dr. Seuss book.

Lisa Lampanelli looks like she lost some weight, which is great, but she also shaved the side of her head. Perhaps it's part of her Miley Cyrus impression?

If there's anything worse than animal print, it's animal print in colors not seen in nature. The ugly resul...

MTV Movie Award Surprises: Can 'The Help' Beat 'Hunger Games?'

The MTV Movie Awards have their finger on the pulse of 2011/2012 cinema with tons of nominations for The Hunger Games, Bridesmaids and Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Pt. 2. If they’re really current, Hunger Games will sweep but there are a few interesting surprises here too.

The Help is a nominee for best picture. Maybe it’ll be the dark horse winner and make up for losing the Oscar? Only if Hunger Games and Bridesmaids split the vote. It’s interesting that MTV acknowledges the popular historical drama, perhaps doing its part for civil rights education.
