NEW YORK (AP) - As she prepares to film her first major movie role, Ciara remains calm. The hit-making singer, who will star in an adaptation of the gospel musical ''Mama, I Want to Sing!'' isn't nervous - not now, at least.

R&B sensation Ciara will make her film debut opposite Patti Labelle and Lynn Whitfield in the upcoming movie adaptation of gospel musical Mama, I Want To Sing! Based loosely on the life of Doris Troy, the story follows a preacher's daughter who hits the big time.

Motown Records re-teams with Lionsgate and ground-breaking director/actor/playwright Tyler Perry to release the soundtrack for his new movie, “Madea’s Family Reunion,” which hits theaters today. Brian McKnight's sultry ballad, “Find Myself In You,” is the first single off the soundtrack.
