Actresses Kirsten Dunst, Kate Hudson and Rita Wilson are following in the footsteps of Jennifer Aniston by directing short films, based on true stories submitted to American magazine Glamour. The stars will all make their directorial debuts - as Aniston did last year.

As film critic Roger Ebert recovers from cancer surgery, five guest hosts will fill-in alongside Richard Roper on the pair's movie review show. Actor Fred Willard, novelist John Ridley and actress Aisha Tyler will appear on the shows beginning on September 24.

Aisha Tyler is hobbling around after breaking three toes during a photoshoot in Miami, Florida. The actress wishes she had a heroic story for when she's asked about her accident but admits it was a stupid stumble. She says, "I need a better story like I was fighting 100 ninjas and I kung-fu'd them all and then the 100th one broke my toe - or I broke it in his ass. Honestly, I stubbed the hell out of my toe."
