October 31st, 2013 10:00am EDT
Bette Midler, Sarah Jessica Parker and Kathy Najimy in Hocus Poc
What sort of spell do witches hold over us? We find them fascinating, scary, and often times sexy.

These ladies, and men as well, don't just haunt our dreams, they find shelter in movie theaters and in our living rooms, and we welcome them into our imagination.

So which witches have what it takes to make our list? Let's not waste another moment; it is time to get bewitched, bothered, and bewildered:

Hocus Pocus (1993)

The Sanderson Sisters: Winifred, Sarah and Mary
(Bette Midler, Sarah Jessica Parker, and Kathy Najimy)

Originally planned as a TV movie, "Hocus Pocus" was brought to ...

Interview: 'Adventures In The Sin Bin' Actor Tim Blake Nelson On The Joy Of Unfamiliar Territory

October 17th, 2013 10:20am EDT
Adventures in the Sin Bin
When it comes to actors with a knack for creating long lasting quirky characters nobody does it better than Tim Blake Nelson.  A classically trained thespian (and also accomplished director), Nelson has an ability to take decent side characters and make them shine bright.  Whether it’s as part of the singing chain gang in the Coen Brothers flick "O Brother, Where Art Though?" or the timid object of Robin Tunney’s affection in the hidden gem "Cherish," Nelson is by far one of the finest character actors working today.  (Just ask Spielberg via "Lincoln!")  His latest project titled "Adventure...

Tunney tells UsMagazine.com, "The diamond was from his grandmother Mimi's engagement ring... It means so much that it was his grandmother's. She had a long and happy marriage to his grandfather. I like to think it's good luck!"

Marmet's holiday proposal was actually his second attempt to make Tunney his wife, after a bout of illness on the trip scupper...

Mentalist-111709-0001.jpg
It's always great when 'The Mentalist' brings back a character, especially when they happen to be disarmingly charming and smarmy like Walter Mashburn. He was wanted for murder once before, and now it looks like the billionaire might be the one being targeted! The episode starts with Jane and Lisbon being called to a building, but there are no police cars or anything else there. Walter is the one that called them in, because he's about to sign a deal with a competitor named Yuri and Yuri was getting death threats. Walter is excited to finally beat his rival into the ground and buy his compa...

'The Mentalist' Recap - 'Cackle-Bladder Blood'

Mentalist-111709-0001.jpg
It's common knowledge that it was Patrick Jane's fault that his wife and daughter were brutally murdered by the serial killer Red John, but sometimes due to his pain it's difficult to remember other people suffered too. He's come a long way even in the last season from being very touchy and slightly insane about what happened to his life, and now being able to come to terms with his wife's death in a slightly better way. Last week's episode was about his wife's brother Danny stirring up trouble for Jane and reminding him about how badly he failed his wife.

Danny calls Jane and asks for hel...
