The news is yet another blow for the show's producer Jeffrey Richards, whose musical The Bridges of Madison County closed on Sunday (18May14) after a three-month run.

Marisa Tomei thinks she's too old to play Lady Gaga in a movie.
The 'The Wrestler' actress was flattered to hear the 'Applause' hitmaker would like her to play the 28-year-old singer if there is ever a film made about her life, but doesn't think she is the right person for the role.
Asked if she would consider the offer, the 46-year-old star told 'The View' on Friday (04.18.14): "I was so flattered and I couldn't believe she said that. But I was thinking, 'What kind of movie?' Is it going to be some avant-garde thing where she goes back in time or I would play her older than she actually is...

Still, for as many thespians who will not take it all off, there are just as many who will, and have willfully. Following, in no particular order, are 19 stars that don't mind getting naked for roles.

It's Fashion Fail Time! That means we take a break from letting you know how good all of your favorite stars look to show the other side of fashion: the fails!

Marisa Tomei wore this mustard, green, and scallop-patterned dress to the “Journey of a Dress” premiere. Let’s hope the next stop on the journey is the incinerator.

Lady Victoria Hervey wore this questionable cut-out dress. No, we don’t know who she is, either.

Kate Bosworth donned this ugly, glittery mess with odd folds going around her waist and a fan slapped on her shoulder.

Marisa Tomei is joining the "Us & Them" family.

The "Crazy, Stupid, Love" star is now part of the clan that will bicker, battle and probably eventually reconcile in the multi-generational comedy, according to Variety.

"Us & Them" stars Crystal and Midler as a feuding couple forced to call a truce when they find themselves living under the same roof as their three grandchildren. As they struggle to come to terms with the kids' modern ways (we're sure there will be a bit of dialogue along the lines of, "What's an iPad?"), they look to reconcile not only with each other but with their daught...

Lady Gaga would love to see Marisa Tomei play her in a biopic - because she has a lot of the same traits as the actress.

The Poker Face hitmaker is convinced The Wrestler star would be the ideal person to portray her if her life was ever made into a movie, as both of the New York-natives have a fiery attitude.

She tells Sirius XM radio station, "Oh, you know what, I would have Marisa Tomei play me. I am such a Marisa Tomei fan. All my friends call me Marisa when I get angry. Because my New York accent just flies out of my body and I start smacking my gum."

Independent Film Festival Boston Review: 'Cyrus'

Every once and a while, you can find a film that exceeds your expectations and pleasantly surprises you; “Cyrus” starring John C. Reilly, Jonah Hill, and Marisa Tomei definitely qualities as one of those movies. A tender romantic comedy that encompasses the importance of family, “Cyrus” is funny and complex at the same time, something that is quite uncommon.

John C. Reilly plays a sad sack divorcee conveniently named John, who has spent the last few years romantically dormant while his ex-wife (Catherine Keener) moved on. The unusual thing about their relationship though is that it’s ...

Cougar Town premiered on ABC last week, shining the spotlight on a subject that has fascinated young men since the beginning of time. Courtney Cox is a perfect choice to head the cast, but unfortunately that seems to be where the good decisions end. The only other cougar on this show is Christa Miller (the sort-of attractive female friend from The Drew Carey Show), and she's not so much a cougar as she is someone who inspires the phrase "She must have been hot back in her prime." Spotlight On The Best Big-Screen Lawyers

April 16th, 2009 10:00am EDT
Chicago
Lawyers have been around basically as long as the law has been present - even back in Ancient Rome and Greece there were men who would stand up and speak for the laws they made. Over the years the role of the lawyer has altered a few times, but it always comes back to truth, justice, and honesty ... or the exact opposite of those ideas.

Lawyers have gained a rather negative persona, either due to them wanting too much money or doing it for their own ego rather than what is right. Film often interprets reality, and so lawyers on screen are usually portrayed as either virtuous, helpful,...
