Maura Tierney is begging E.R. bosses to kill off her character before the long-running show comes to an end, but they are refusing to let Dr. Abby Lockhart die. Network bosses recently announced E.R. will end after one more season, and Tierney is keen to go out with a bang.

ER star Goran Visnjic let it slip that his TV doctor, Luka Kovac, will wed his sweetheart on the show, during an appearance on TV last night. The Croatian actor was being quizzed on late-night chat show Jimmy Kimmel Live when he revealed the truth about the ongoing will-they-won't-they plot between his character and another series regular, played by Maura Tierney.

ER heartthrob Goran Visnjic has reportedly quit the hit hospital drama. The Croatian actor, who plays Dr. Luca Kovac, is thought to be leaving the show at the end of the current series. Visnjic, 34, joined the medical drama in 1999.

* The guitar Johnny Cash used to record his signature tune, "Ring Of Fire," has been donated to Nashville, Tennessee's, new Musicians Hall of Fame and Museum. Cash's longtime friend and bass player Marshall Grant presented the famous Guild guitar to museum bosses during a ceremony on Wednesday. The late country legend gave the guitar to Grant as a gift.
