The Strangest Celebrity Couples

9/29/2013 12:07pm EDT
The Strangest Celebrity Couples
Love is blind, or so they say. Even in Hollywood, where image is everything, we've seen our share of odd pairs. Here are some of our favorite Strange Celebrity Couples, past and present:

Simon Cowell and Carmen Electra

A blinked-and-you-missed-it romance, these two dodged dating rumors after meeting on the set of Britain's Got Talent - but it was never confirmed they actually hooked up. However, those rumors came back with a vengeance thanks to Simon's scandal with Lauren Silverman - some reports even claimed the two of were broken up when she learned he was cheating on her with Silverman...

Amber Tamblyn To Play A Lesbian On 'Two And A Half Men'

8/8/2013 11:00pm EDT
Amber Tamblyn
Amber Tamblyn has been cast as Charlie Sheen's long-lost lesbian daughter in the upcoming season of "Two And A Half Men." She will replace Angus T. Jones as a regular on the show. Earlier this year, Jones urged viewers to stop watching the series so he would no longer have to work on the show. He later apologized for his comments.

Sheen left the series in 2011.
Alan Harper, played by Jon Cryer, will discover his niece Jenny (the illegitimate daughter of his late brother), who moved to Los Angeles to become an actress.
Tamblyn's character will appear in at least five episodes of the sh...

The couple exchanged vows on Saturday at a ceremony in California in front of guests including Amy Poehler, Jason Ritter, America Ferrera and Blake Lively, who was with her new husband, Ryan Reynolds.

Pictures from the big day now reveal the actress wore a bright yellow dress, with flowers in her hair, and shunned shoes as she arrived with her wedding party in a kayak.

Amber Tamblyn Pranks Tyrese Gibson By Posing As Amber Rose

3/5/2012 7:44pm EST
Amber Tamblyn
Actress Amber Tamblyn pranked R&B star Tyrese Gibson by recording a batch of songs for his upcoming album - as Kanye West's ex Amber Rose.

Gibson thought he'd stumbled upon the model-turned-singer's email address and invited her to feature on his project - but the recipient was actress Tamblyn.

And rather than own up to her real identity, the House star decided to have a little fun with the R&B singer/movie hunk.

In a blog post on, she writes, "Tyrese Gibson (of Fast and Furious and Transformers) saw my name cc'd (copied) on an email that a mutual friend sent...

'House' Has An Epic 'Fall From Grace,' Marries For Green Card

3/23/2011 10:54am EDT
House Fall From Grace
This week, House torments Cuddy but can’t get a rise out of her, diagnoses a young, homeless man with an allergy to vegetables, and marries a multi-tasking alien so she can get a green card. Hey kids! You really CAN be allergic to vegetables!

In the state park, two precocious boys launch a model rocket. When the parts fall from the sky aflame, they discover a young, luxuriously bearded, homeless man (Chris Marquette) has had his arm set on fire. Someone’s getting grounded for this!

House arrives at his team’s meeting on a Segway, accompanied by a gorgeous brunette. He is unimpressed with ...

'House' Takes A Dive 'Out Of The Chute'

3/15/2011 10:17am EDT
House - Out of the Chute
Last week’s incredible “Bombshells” left the “House” writers with nowhere to go but down. Cuddy’s no longer dying, but House wishes he was, as the realization that his romance is over sinks in. Can House’s return to his bacchanalistic lifestyle ease his pain?

A young and healthy cowboy mounts a bull at a rodeo. He needs to stay seated for 8 seconds to beat the bull and win the challenge. The 8 seconds pass like minutes, as the bull furiously bucks and tries to throw the rider. The cowboy succeeds, and while the rodeo clowns lead the bull away, he faces the cheering crowd triumphantly. But ...

'House' Recap - 'Small Sacrifices'

11/23/2010 5:56pm EST
It's been awhile since an opening scene on 'House' actually made me cringe, but this was one of them. The episode starts with a man carrying a cross, obviously doubling the crucifiction of Jesus Christ, and he actually is nailed to the cross. Cue wincing from all of the audience. I thought at first it would be a movie actor or something, but no, the patient of the week is a deeply religious man who crucifies himself since God saved his daughter from cancer. Which means it'll be another episode of House vs. God, and the patient will provide all kinds of handicaps for the doctors as they try ...

'House' Recap - 'Office Politics'

11/9/2010 4:03pm EST
House Office Politics
'House' is back and Cuddy is still pressuring him to get a female doctor on the team. Is it a medical law that he has to hire one, or is she just really interested in women power? In any case, Cuddy hired a girl for him: a third year medical student who has three PhDs. A super genius, Masters, played by Amber Tamblyn. First, let's just get a few questionable things out of the way: medical school is tough, and third year in particularly is considered difficult. How is she supposed to complete her studies and be at House's beck and call? How is she any more qualified than some of the other N...

'127 Hours' Star Amber Tamblyn Has Curves We Didn't Know Existed

11/4/2010 1:00pm EDT
Amber Tamblyn
Amber Tamblyn arrived at the "127 Hours" Los Angeles premiere yesterday in an emerald green dress. It seems like more and more actresses are bucking the super skinny trend in Hollywood, and we like it! Although, we think Amber's shin tattoo has got to go.

What do you think of the curvy star?

Filmmaker Danny Boyle adapts the true-life story of Aron Ralston in "127 Hours," which details the hiker's harrowing quest for survival after losing an arm to a fallen rock and the grueling five-day ordeal that finally ended with his rescue. James Franco steps into the role of the unfortunate climber....

'House' Recap - 'Unplanned Parenthood'

10/19/2010 3:35pm EDT
House and Rachel
Last week House traded his massage therapist/former lover for the chance to be more in Cuddy's life and meet her daughter. He might just be regretting it this week! Cuddy asks him to babysit for Rachel when everyone else can't do it, and although he argues and whines, he agrees to do it in the end. This is why he spends most of the episode panicking with Wilson about Rachel and not paying much attention to his actual case. It's about another child who is dying, and instead of two years she's two days old.

The baby has complications right out of birth and we see it happen on a home video th...

DVD Purgatory: 'Spring Breakdown'

9/18/2009 8:50am EDT
Spring Breakdown
In between box-office heaven and unreleased hell lies DVD Purgatory, where movies with popular actors, big budgets and bigger problems rest in eternal damnation on the shelves of your local Blockbuster. Each month we'll take a look at one of these lost souls and figure out what went wrong. This month's unfortunate victim is "Spring Breakdown".

Female-centric comedies are rarely big winners, but the ones that break through - think "Legally Blonde" or "House Bunny" - usually hit it big due to the dearth of funny films targeted toward women.

So, it made sense for Warner Bros. to give th...

"I know they're using the word procedural a lot, but I would not come back to television for anything other than this," Tamblyn said. "It's amazing."

The cases include prostitution and people in hot dog suits but Tamblyn is focused on her character. "I like that she's a lot like me, in that she's a smart-ass and tough and tomboyish an...
