Coen Brothers Continue To Collect A-List Stars For 'Hail, Caesar!'

July 10th, 2014 3:01pm EDT
Scarlett Johansson
Ethan and Joel Coen are slowly gathering a spectacular cast for their next film, Hail, Caesar!. Jonah Hill recently confirmed he's joined the project, and Scarlett Johansson is reportedly in negotiations.

According to Variety, the Coen brothers are working to cast the pregnant Johansson for the film, which is ironically about a 1950s actress who becomes pregnant just as her new film begins production. The movie will follow a "fixer" for the film studio who works to keep all of their stars out of trouble, and it sounds like this pregnant actress is the latest issue for him.

Tilda Swinton
That sound you hear is a bunch of fans re-watching The Curious Case Of Benjamin Button after Tilda Swinton teased a possible Easter Egg.

During her Reddit AMA (Ask me Anything) to promote her film Snowpiercer's American release, she was asked about any interesting experiences she had while working on Benjamin Button. She replied, "The time when Fincher failed to notice that BP [Brad Pitt] and I had arranged two potatoes and a carrot in a specific configuration on the kitchen table we were sitting at.. and had to have it pointed out to him at the END of a take.." Swinton didn't reveal wheth...

Head And Shoulders Above The Rest: The 15 Tallest Actresses In Hollywood

April 30th, 2014 7:00pm EDT
Gwendoline Christie
We recently profiled the tallest actors in show business, so naturally we wanted to also honor the women who stand out - for both their height and acting ability.

Gwendoline Christie, 6'3". Christie plays the towering Brienne in Game of Thrones and told Stylist, "As someone who has always felt at times pretty genderless because of my size, it interests me to challenge ideas of prejudice and femininity and what it is to be a woman."

Brigitte Nielsen, 6'1". At the height of her fame in the 80s, the danish actress was unfairly branded an "amazon" by several newspapers when she was marrie...

Wes Anderson is set to kick off the 64th Berlin International Film Festival on February 6, 2014 with the world premiere of his new film, Grand Budapest Hotel.

The film, Anderson's eighth as director, stars Ralph Fiennes as the titular hotel's concierge befriends a young lobby boy (newcomer Tony Revolori) and takes him under his wing as his unofficial apprentice.

The film was shot on location in Germany, making it the perfect place for it to premiere, as many had assumed it would bow at next year's Cannes Film Festival.

Two of Anderson's previous films, "The Life Aquatic With Steve Zissou...

Fashion Fails: Kimberly Wyatt, Asa Butterfield, John Legend, More

Kimberly Wyatt
It's Fashion Fail Time! That means we take a break from letting you know how good all of your favorite stars look to show the other side of fashion: the fails!

Kimberly Wyatt wore this mishmash dress to the Pride of Britain awards, but there's no pride in wearing such a bizarre outfit. Her purse looks like a glittery Christmas card, on top of it all.

Ashley Roberts wore this questionable pair of overalls featuring a repeated face of a lion. One would think she was going for a Goth look with her black nails, but she retains her light hair and paints her lips a shocking red.

Rita Ora
It's Fashion Fail Time! That means we take a break from letting you know how good all of your favorite stars look to show the other side of fashion: the fails!

Generally we don't criticize concert outfits, because they are supposed to be freaky and daring. However, Rita Ora's outfit is half Salt N Pepa and half creepy art piece. No thanks!

Supermodel Laetitia Casta tried on this fashion experiment and it blew up in her face. She seems adamant on holding the feathers in place with her hand and we don't like the odd pink trailer at all. Just all over the place.

March 24th, 2013 11:38am EDT
Tilda Swinton
On Saturday, Tilda Swinton surprised fans at New York's Museum of Modern Art (MoMA) by spending the whole day sleeping inside a glass box. The actress, 52, took up residence in the art installation, called The Maybe, until the museum closed later that evening.

The museum issued the statement: "An integral part of The Maybe's incarnation at MoMA in 2013 is that there is no published schedule for its appearance, no artist's statement released, no museum statement beyond this brief context, no public profile or image issued. Those who find it chance upon it for themselves, live and in real -...

Kristen Stewart Named 'Least Sexy Hollywood Actress'

February 20th, 2013 8:37am EST
Kristen Stewart
Poor Kristen Stewart. She had to deal with a cheating scandal last summer, and now this! The actress has topped a U.K. poll to find the "Least Sexy Hollywood Actress." Ouch!

Obviously, those surveyed rated sexiness as more than just a physical attribute because Stewart is definitely not a bad looking woman. Perhaps her on/off relationship with British heartthrob Robert Pattinson had something to do with it?

Other unattractive ladies on the list include former "Sexy and the City" star Sarah Jessica Parker and troubled actress Lindsay Lohan.

There are celebrities who dress like they're here from another planet -- like new American Idol judge Nicki Minaj and fashion designer Karl Lagerfeld; and there are those celebrities we actually think really may be from another planet -- like Lady Gaga and Tom Cruise.

Karl Lagerfeld: no one on earth would ever consciously choose to look or dress like this.

Lady Gaga: may actually be from beyond. Those pointy horns and shoulders may actually be her true form. And she came here in a giant space egg. Hmmm....

Despite my extensive coverage of Sundance, South by Southwest and Toronto International film festivals, I can’t quite afford to go to Cannes, France. I’ll have to watch the Cannes Film Festival from afar, but here are some things I know to expect from May 16 to May 27.

Major films in competition include David Cronenberg’s Cosmopolis starring Robert Pattinson, Wes Anderson’s Moonrise Kingdom starring Bruce Willis, Bill Murray, Tilda Swinton and Edward Norton, Lee Daniels’ The Paperboy starring Zac Efron, Nicole Kidman, Mat...

Inside Look At The 84th Academy Awards Nomination Announcements (Video)

Live From The Academy Award Nominations
Like last year, the Oscar Nominations announcement morning always proves to be an early morning. I was up at 2:15 AM to conquer the pinnacle of the awards show season, the Academy Awards. I was interested to see how the Academy would vote this year with a new voting system for Best Picture, no clear frontrunner in the race, and a plethora of names being bandied about in the acting categories. The Academy did not disappoint this year with fresh faces, a nod to comedy, and a surprising nine Best Picture nominees instead of the predicted six or eight nominees.

Unfortunately, this is not what Eva Khatchadourian (Tilda Swinton) in 'We Need To Talk About Kevin' does. In fact, Eva does absolutely nothing and that's a decision that will haunt her until the day she dies.
