American actress Barret Swatek was born March 3, 1977, in Birmingham, Al. She graduated from Loyola Marymount University with a degree in Film. Barret made her television debut on the children's morning show "Power Ranger Turbo." This led to small parts on "Three Sisters" and "Just Shoot Me," but she is most known for her role as Cheryl on the hit CW series "7th Heaven." Her film credits include "The 40 Year Old Virgin," "Lethal Weapon 4" and "On Edge."
Alabama native Barret Swatek pursued a life in competitive figure skating until she was 12 years old. Her natural affinity for performance made her a natural on the ice, and even after she stopped skating, Swatek found a place on the stage in community theater productions. After studying film in college, Swatek began appearing in movies and on television, playing a nurse in Lethal Weapon 4, and making a guest appearance on Just Shoot Me. In 2000, Swatek was cast as Cheryl in the WB series 7th Heaven, which she'd stick with until 2003. After a role in the short-lived series quarterlife in 2008, the fair-haired actress was cast in 10 Things I Hate About You, a TV adaptation of the 1999 film. Cammila Albertson, All Movie Guide
