Bahar Soomekh Biography
Iranian American actress Bahar Soomekh was born on March 30, 1975, in Tehran during the Iranian revolution. At age four Bahar and her Persian-Jewish family moved to Los Angeles, where she attended Sinai Akiba Academy and graduated from Beverly Hills High school in 1993. Later she received a degree in Environmental Studies from the University of California at Santa Barbara. Bahar's television credits include small roles on "JAG," "24" and "Without A Trace," and she had major roles in the films "Mission Impossible III," " Saw III" and in the Academy Award-winner "Crash." In her spare time Bahar plays the violin and her name means 'spring or new life' in Persian.
