Australian rocker Ben Lee and his new wife, actress Ione Skye, have welcomed their first child together.

Skye, 39, gave birth to the couple's daughter Goldie Priya Lee on September 24th, Lee announced on his website.

The couple legally wed at their Los Angeles home in front of friends and family in January, one month after exchanging vows at a traditional ceremony in India.

Coupled with a photo of little Goldie in his arms, Lee, 31, reveals he is "over the moon" about their new addition.

Skye also has eight-year-old daughter, Kate Netto, from a previous relationship.

Australian rocker Ben Lee has married Say Anything actress Ione Skye in a traditional Hindu ceremony in India.

The pair, which announced its engagement in January 2008, thrilled locals by inviting them to watch the colorful ceremony in the city of Chennai last month. The couple was married by Lee's guru Sakthi Narayani Amma, who has given Lee spiritual advice since 2003, the year the singer split with actress Claire Danes.

It is the first marriage for Lee, while Skye, daughter of 1960s pop star Donovan, was previously married to Beastie Boy Adam Horowitz.
