Review/Interview: A Little Layered Ludivine Makes 'Love Crime' A Must See
It’s often said that the worse the antagonist of a film is, especially in a revenge picture, the better the movie. Though it would appear in the effective French import "Love Crime" that quite the opposite is true. There is a decent enough baddie here to push the innocent envelope, but it’s the multi-faceted victim who provides the work that would truly be the crime to miss.

Review: Is 'The Devil's Double' The Scarface Of The Middle East?
Although dwindled down to a mere purpose of presence making sure things don’t get out of control, the war in Iraq will remain a stir of cringing echoes in the minds of those who endured it as both victims of circumstance, or obligation based on decisions sketchier than any other decision based under inaccurate reasons.
Whether supported or not, the Hussein family carried one of the most complex reputations known to any family of power! Sadam’s ruling made noise all over the world, supported to a large degree at times (even by our own government back in the early 80s), however, like everyt...

Review: Cooper Captivates In The Dark World Of 'The Devil's Double'
Having a single actor portray two characters in the same film is always a daunting prospect. Even with physical, vocal and behavioral variations to help establish the little differences between characters, things can cinematically go from good (James Spader as twin brothers John and Rick Wesford in "Jack’s Back!") to bad (Jean-Claude Van Damme in the gamey "Double Impact!") very quickly. But to take on two different people that look completely identical seems somewhat doomed from the start – meet the exception.
