Miranda Cosgrove Join's NBC's 'Girlfriend In A Coma' With Christina Ricci

iCarly star Miranda Cosgrove is heading back to TV as Christina Ricci's daughter.

The teenager has been added to the cast of NBC comedy 'Girlfriend in a Coma.'

Ricci will play a woman who wakes from a 17-year coma and realizes she has a daughter from a pregnancy she was unaware of.

Cosgrove starred in iCarly for seven seasons before the show came to an end last year, as the actress embarked on a college degree at the University of Southern California.

Christina Ricci revealed some exciting news this weekend - she has secretly been engaged to cameraman James Heerdegen since late last year.
 
The actress confirmed the news during the launch of her new Makeup Forever launch in Los Angeles on Friday. A keen-eyed fan spotted the engagement ring and asked the million-dollar question. Ricci answered, "We got engaged a couple months back."
 
Ricci met her future husband on the set of "Pan Am" at the beginning of 2012. The series was cancelled after one season.

Christina Ricci bared her midriff at the CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund Awards in New York City on Tuesday. The actress showed off her tummy in a gray and purple ensemble.

Ricci appeared on Sunday night's episode of "The Good Wife," playing a comedian who is sued for inappropriately performing a self-breast exam on a talk show.

She recently starred in the television series "Pan Am," which was canceled after just one season last year. She stars in the upcoming films "Around the Block," "The Smurfs 2" and "Mother's Day.

Earlier this week Christina Ricci sparked engagement rumors after she was spotted wearing a diamond ring on her wedding finger.

On Thursday the actress was photographed wearing the jewelry on her ring finger at Los Angeles LAX Airport, prompting speculation she is engaged to boyfriend James Heerdegen.

The couple met when the actor/production technician worked on her TV show “Pan Am” as a crew member last year.

Ricci was previously engaged to Owen Benjamin, but they split in 2009.

Christina Ricci was horrified when news of her secret battle with anorexia was leaked to the press because the then-teenager had been desperate to keep her troubles a secret until she had recovered.
