She is the greatest thing to come out of the USA The first album I bought was "Special Delivery" way back in 1960s and I own about 30 albums at the moment I am changing to CDs what i like about Della is that she rarely repeats tracks that are on other albums so nearly every album is different and at 76 she is still going strong may she go on for years to come mvbskycity

DO I LIKE DELLA REESE??! I LOVE DELLA REESE. Let me tell you - I believe I was about 13 years told when I discovered the "Blue Skies" album. My family was big time into jazz music and I was just discovering my place in the music world and singing. All I knew was gospel and my aunt guided me to her record collection where I began to drool over Sarah, Ella, and DELLA! I picked up this beautiful cover. Ms. Reese's backside was toward the front and she had her head turned. She wore a bearutiful form-fitting pink gown. The gown, the makeup on her face, her shape - the music - all fit and was perfect to me. I dreamed of every song. I practiced every song and learned each one to perfection. She became the reason I love music so much! I lost that album in the process of many moves (Gary, Flint, Detroit, Los Angeles, Birmingham, Nashville) I persued a career as a singer (R/B) and eventually returned to gospel full time. I would love to have this album again. (CD) Please advise if it is available. I love Ms. Reese and I pray for her continued strength.
