Actress Nikki Reed incorporated little love notes she has written for her singer husband Paul Mcdonald into her new jewellery collection by having some of the words engraved on the pieces.

The Twilight beauty has released a line with top denim brand 7 For All Mankind and she reveals all of her designs were inspired by her own blossoming marriage.

Newlyweds Nikki Reed and Paul McDonald have adopted a new dog from a shelter.

The couple's new pet will be a companion for Twilight star Reed's German Shepherd Enzo.

The McDonalds posted of photo of their new pooch, who is also a Shepherd, on WhoSay.com accompanied by the message, "The newest addition to our family! Enzo has waited such a long time for this!"

It isn't the first time the pair's dog love has hit the news this year - Reed and McDonald fostered the puppy that eventually found a home with Drew Barrymore in January .

The actress fell for singer/songwriter McDonald when he was a contestant on American Idol earlier this year) and they wed last month in Malibu, California.

During their honeymoon, they composed the tune "Now That I Found You" and the couple stepped into a studio earlier this month to record the track, which will be released via iTunes this week.
