In December, I gave you my list of five TV actors deserving of more notice this year. With 2013 more than a quarter of the way over, it's time to check the results. Where are these talented folks now? Did they get the extra attention they should have? And who else is poised to reach the next level?

This week's Nikita takes us to Norway, where Percy and Roan are visiting a CIA "black site" in order to visit one nasty prisoner: Nicholas Brandt (Rick Ravanello). After having Nikita capture Brandt five years earlier, Percy is ready to set him free and sic him on her now. Last week, Nikita finally bumped off the much-maligned Sergei Semak, so it's no surprise that this week, Amanda and Ari (Peter Outerbridge) move to fill the void.

Action begins outside a DARPA research facility, where an unfortunate staffer ends up shot dead after swiping a nasty-looking device for an enigmatic woman. Michael explains to Birkhoff (and the audience) that the device synthesizes a rare isotope and allegedly "represents the future of clean energy." Nikita recognizes the shooter as a Division agent. This week's Nikita marks the third appearance of my least favorite character: foreign dignitary/Michael's baby mama/MI6 agent/Gogol mole Cassandra (Helena Mattsson). Unlike the first two, though, this one's pretty good.

The episode opens in London, where Cassandra is meeting Ari (Peter Outerbridge). He's handing her a new assignment that seems to momentarily throw her. Alex clues Michael and Nikita into the fact that Cassandra is a mole, causing Michael to blow a gasket. He breaks stuff and then decides to get his son back. After a month of reruns, we finally get three new episodes of Nikita. This one's packed full of action, if not necessarily big surprises, although there is one unpleasant one in the final minutes.

Division has seen four agents killed in three days, which has made Amanda very unhappy, and the lower-level agents disgruntled. Michael and Birkhoff bring this information to Nikita, with Michael insistent that the targeted agents were members of a task force Percy had him assemble to deal with Gogol. Maggie Q is set to become the latest actress to play Wonder Woman after signing on for a new animated TV series.

The actress will make her debut as the superheroine in Cartoon Network series "Young Justice" on March 24, according to TVGuide.com.

Maggie Q insists she was born to play Wonder Woman: "In my head I am her. No stretch there. When I was a kid, I used to dress up as her. I couldn't afford a costume, so I would make her headband, wristbands and the lasso out of paper and tape it to myself, and run around, climb up roofs and try to jump off them."

Picking up where last week's episode left off, we further probe Nikita's backstory and that of Division in this week's Nikita. There's a lot going on in both past and present...

We start in 1998, when Division is just an old missile silo with Percy giving Carla (Erica Gimpel) a tour of the place like a bad realtor. Yet we're only there for about thirty seconds before we go back to the present day, where Nikita tells Carla "I only survived because of my memories of you. And now all of my memories are a lie." Ouch. Carla says that Division was a good idea until Amanda "corrupted" it.

The theme of this season of Nikita seems to be everyone's past crawling out of the woodwork (see: Alex's mom, Michael's son), so it's not surprising that this week we meet Nikita's mentor.

Things start in New Jersey, where Percy is having Roan off a Newark detective in an alley in the middle of the night, because that's where these things happen. The next morning, Nikita and Michael (who appears to have gotten a haircut since Percy's dig about his looks last week) are sparring, only to be interrupted by the arrival of Alex. Nikita is back this week, and "Clean Sweep" was an episode worth the wait, because the show looks considerably different now.

Picking up where "Sanctuary" left off, Team Nikita overhears the conversation between Amanda and Patrick Miller (Patrick deVry), and makes their own plan to intervene. "It's about saving lives," says Michael to an incredulous Birkhoff. Convincing the group that he's needed, Sean teams with Nikita and Michael to rescue his mom (and the other members of Oversight) from the Guardians.

"Nikita" star Maggie Q is recovering after breaking two fingers on her left hand.

The all-action actress split open her knuckle last month after falling from a ladder and she has only just had the bandaging removed.

She tells news show Access Hollywood Live, "The knuckle was split open completely... My splints just came off last week."

Last season's Nikita midseason finale was a stunner. This season's feels like an unfinished work - but hold on for the final few minutes, because those open up a world of possibilities.

We open in France, where there's a late-night raid, which includes Owen (Devon Sawa, last seen in "Falling Ash"). He and his strike team come up empty-handed, which does not please Ari. He wants the remaining black boxes found and destroyed yesterday or nasty things will happen.

Nikita went into a tailspin last week, largely because it jettisoned much of what made it a good show. Put the pieces back together, and the show gets good again. Who'd have thought?

In this week's Nikita, Michael heads to London to see Cassandra and Max - and unsurprisingly, the trip ends up being anything but a pleasant father and child reunion. It's painful for everyone, including the audience.

The show may be called Nikita, but it's Shane West, as the title character's partner Michael, who is the backbone of the series.

Nothing against Maggie Q, but Shane's doing a lot of heavy lifting. In just over a full season, Michael has been Nikita's trainer, ally, one-time possible love interest, enemy, ally again, and now her current love interest. We've seen how he lost his wife and daughter, left his longtime post as right-hand man at Division after finding out that boss Percy was behind their deaths, and now he's ditched the concrete walls of the secret agency for a life on t...

This week's Nikita continues to dig up the past - but this week it has a specific name and a face, and a whole lot of festering anger.

We're in Turkey this week, and Kelly (Katheryn Winnick) is trying to make a quick escape. When that doesn't go as planned, she starts shooting and steals a getaway van. Yay for generic white vans.

This big, loud escape brings her to the attention of Amanda at Division, who decides to send a cleaning team - and Alex, because Kelly happens to be Nikita's former partner, presumed killed in action on the operation during which Nikita escaped Division. ...

Nikita spent a little too much time laying out the changes in its game last week. Thankfully, this week it has the return of Owen (Devon Sawa) to give it a shot in the arm.

We begin the episode in - of all places - Connecticut, where there's an awkward conversation between a guy and his father, before a mysterious man drops off an unmarked package at the window of the guy's ice cream truck.
