Actress Maggie Q was born Maggie Denise Quigley on May 22, 1979, in Honolulu, Hi. She is of Vietnamese and Irish-American descent and was a fashion model and television personality before she became a movie actress. She has achieved stardom in Hong Kong and has appeared in Chinese films, speaking Cantonese, regardless of her non-Chinese heritage. Maggie's film debut came in 1999 in the movie "Guhuozni Jiqingpian Zhi HonXing Defeige" and has had roles in "Around The World in 80 Days," "Taped" and "Rush Hour 2." Her most famous roles are as Zhen Lei in the action film "Mission Impossible III" and as Maggie Wong in the Ping Pong adventure movie "Balls of Fury." Maggie is a supermodel in many parts of Asia, has appeared on more than 100 magazine covers, and has been romantically linked to British-Korean superstar Daniel Henney and Chinese American superstar Daniel Wu.
